How to unlock the Future Star achievement in NCAA Football 13 - Definitive Guide

Very easy achievement. Start a Road To Glory and select "Create New Player". I chose to be a Quarterback (QB), my Home State at Ohio, and I chose Akron for my high school. Choose Freshman difficulty. I picked three 5 star schools as schools I'm interested in.

All you have to do is start each game, and simulate to the end of the game at the start. DO NOT simulate to the end of season or each week without entering the game, as the achievements will not count.

By the end of the season you should be undefeated and should win the High School State Championship. You should also be a 5 star prospect. This achievement should take about 10 minutes.

You'll unlock the achievement when you commit to a school. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the achievement!

I will have to run through this again. I got to signing day (already a 5 star prospect) committed to the team that would take me as a starter, and no achievement. I started every game and simmed to the end. I got the achievements for winning the state championship and becoming a starter, but not this achievement. Strange.

I noticed you can set the high school schedule length. Does the number of games affect these achievements at all? If no one responds by the time i finish a 7 game season (min ammount allows) & playoffs, then I'll post results. Thanks!

In order to achieve this trophy, you must become a 5 star prospect. Fortunately, this year you only have to play one position instead of both offense and defense. I strong advise you to play on offense as a running back or quarterback. You can simulate your season and you should be able to become a 5 star prospect but if you're going for the other trophies, I strongly suggest you play each game but sim a few drives a game.

NOTE: You can buy the Five Star player unlocks from the PS store for $2.99 for one position or $5.99 for all positions. Once you finish the high school season and select a college to play for, the trophy will unlock.

When playing Road to Glory mode you will notice that you earn recruiting points after completing games. Each set of points that you earn will increase your prospect (stars) rating, and will also increase your chance for scholarships from big-time colleges. Earning 5 stars is not hard at all when playing on Freshman difficulty, as you will earn around 300 points and a star after each game.

You should be a 5 star prospect by the fifth game of your high school season if you're playing on freshman difficulty. You will also be able to earn the 'High School Champ' achievement if you play and win the high school championship game.

The achievement will unlock after signing to a college.
