This one is self explanatory. A run play can be a QB keeper, hand-off, pitch or toss (basically anything that isn't a pass, kick, or clock management play).
If you're are having trouble getting a run this long, then try to match up a team with a good running back against a team with a bad rush defense. I got this as Texas A&M against Baylor.

Simply run for 20 yards. This is done easier in Road to Glory as a running back.

You shouldn't even have to worry about this since it will probably be the first achievement that you unlock. Just select a running play and gain 20 yards with it.
