How to unlock the Put Your Helmet On achievement in NCAA Football 13 - Definitive Guide

Fairly basic achievement and one that you'll get just through RTG progression. The easiest way to do it is to pick a school where you will be the second stringer at your position. Set the difficulty to Freshman and put the sliders in your favor. Go to practice first and try to get it before the first game. If not, you should get it in week 2's practice, as you may not get much playing time during the first week's game. NOTE: I am not sure if choosing a school where you would automatically be a starter would work. As far as I know, that wasn't the case last year, so I would assume it will not work again this year. If you're going for the Earn My Trust achievement, you'll get this one along the way.

Once you complete your Senior year in high school, you will have the option to choose from the schools you selected you were interested in during the season. After you have chosen a school, you want to practice to earn coach trust points. When you have earned enough you will become the starter and the trophy will pop. This shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks into your Freshman season.

You will eventually become a starter on your team once you have completed all the position battles during the weeks, or by becoming the 1st string. Note that if you choose to sign to a team that plans to have you as a 1st String, you won't be able to unlock Take What's Mine.
