How to unlock the Take What's Mine achievement in NCAA Football 13 - Definitive Guide

Easy achievement. Start up a Road To Glory and Create a Player. Set the difficulty to Freshman and simulate the high school season from the start to signing day.

Once the season is over, select a school to play for that says your position is "2nd string". To be safe at this point, save your RTG and turn autosave off.

Go into practice mode during Week 1 and you need to get the amount of coach trust points to be eligible for a position battle. If you achieve the required amount, save your RTG and play the Week 1 game. DO NOT sim before the game, go into the game and you can supersim to the end from there. Once you enter week 2, you should be ready for a position battle.

Participate in the position battle and if you achieve the required number of Coach Trust points you should win the battle. DO NOT QUIT ONCE YOU WiN THE BATTLE MAKE SURE YOU FINISH OUT THE NUMBER OF REPS OR YOU MAY HAVE TO START ALL OVER!

NOTE: In order to get this trophy, you must select a school where you're going to be 2nd string.

Once you start your Freshman season in college, you want to practice each week to earn coach trust points. When you have earned enough, eventually "Position Battle" will be in place of your practice option under your current week. Select it like you would to start practice and simply perform decent in practice to earn 1000 points and this will come very easily.

Position battles are played during the weeks of your college career. Depending on the college that you enrolled in, you will need to battle other players on your team that are above you on the depth chart (1st String, 2nd String). These battles are put in replace of the practice sessions during your game week, and can be played every other week until you reach the starter position.

The battles are similar to practice sessions where you will need to accumulate enough points in order to win the battle. It's okay if you don't win a battle since there will be more in the upcoming weeks.
