How to unlock the Who's a good boy? achievement in Necromunda: Hired Gun - Definitive Guide

As soon as you finish the beginning level and finish the initial cutscene with Kal Jerico and the Rogue Doc. You stand in front of the Rogue Doc. From here, turn left and walk out into the bar, you will see Kal Jerico in the corner to the immediate right, as well as, your Mastiff. Walk up to him and give him a pet. Achievement Unlocked!

After completing the first mission, Kaerus, you will have access to Martyr’s End which is the main hub of the game. Your dog (Mastiff) can be found in Martyr's End by turning right at the bar and will be directly left of the mission select area. Press cn_X to in interact with your dog to unlock the achievement.

Once you finish the first mission you will be brought to the games main hub. Just finish the quest requiring you to go to the gladiatorial room and head past the bar next to the mission selection computer where you will see your dog and just press the square button to interact and the trophy will pop.
