How to unlock the Archeotech Hunter achievement in Necromunda: Underhive Wars - Definitive Guide
These come up, rarely, in operations. Across 6 full operations completing most other single player achievements (aside from the 10,000 resources and rank VI items achievements) I had seen just one.
Rather than play through endless missions, which will take a huge amount of time, you can rush through this.
Create a new gang when you have some influence, Ideally 70+
Pick training hall, discounts to hiring costs, increased shop prices and as many level 5 Weapon and Armour crates as you can afford. Select a new, easy operation.
Hire and fire leaders until you have no funds, sell all their equipment then repeat, you'll gain unlimited funds this way. Use this to hire Champion gangers (these will be level IX if you level all their skills to III and put the rest into stats). Hire and fire until you get 5 with minimal injuries and equip them with your rank V items.
Hire a second crew, it doesn't matter who they are, they will be dying anyway. Now simply forfeit every mission as soon as it loads with this second crew and replace them when they die. (a forfeit rolls injury on every ganger). Once an Archeotech mission appears, play that and capture it with your main crew, then complete the operation.
Continue this, playing easy operations (they are quicker) until you have all 10, topping up funds and rank V items as needed until your main crew is fully equipped to make the one mission you have to play every so often easier (it will already be a walk in the park though). I have found that they always seem to appear on the easy operations for some reason. (12/12 times, very small chance this is a coincidence though).
You can do this on your main gang as well, the only impact is trashing their win-loss stats if you care about those. This achievement is also cumulative across all gangs, I.e. you don't need all 10 on one.
