Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered

In this video guide I will show you how to win any hot pursuit in an Aston Martin. The race location is called: Fox Lair Pass, and the event is called: Avalanche.

This race might take few tries as there are better cars to select to make this easier. You also might want to wait to unlock a better Aston Martin down the road once you have enough points. I used the V12 Vantage which is a pretty decent car. Some tips to help out would be try and take out the cops as quick as you can, otherwise they will just slow you down causing you to lose the race. If you can help it, try and save your jammers for when there is an unavoidable spike strip set in front of you. If not use them to cancel EMPs. Sometimes if you take out a cop in front of a roadblock it will cutscene you through the roadblock for an easy pass. Always try to remain in the oncoming lane for some boost gain, slipstreaming other racers, drifting as much as possible, and take as many shortcuts as you can. Hopefully watching the video will give you some insight as well. Once you finish the race in 1st the achievement will pop at the results screen.

Most of the Aston Martins are bad cars compared to their category (Supercars), as they have entry-level performances.
Moreover, as they are rather heavy and propelled, a run like Avalanche won't be of much help, because of the many tight turns.
So an average Aston Martin on Avalanche will be very hard to do.

Hatting Aston Martins, I nevertheless could do this achievement in 1st attempt, and do my best time, largely better than gold reward; do like this:
-Unlock the Aston Matin One-77 - just because in its category, the immediately higher, knowing: Exotic series, where the One-77 has just the highest speed of all cars (acceleration being Top Secret); it is still propelled, and rather heavy (what is rather good for solidity and impacts on cops);
-Use it on Rockingham Point - Hotting up.

Such, I did the achievement in 1st attempt, and the try, being the 2nd one for Hotting up in general, passed my gold time to a far better gold time (10 or 20 seconds gain, so more under gold).
