I found it easier on the other ring road, Just use a bit of NOS around 50-60% around as the road is wider but a bit tighter but you get to keep more speed

For anybody curious, you can do this in the police vehicle as well.

I did it in the police version and it counts. Got it second try without traffic. Need to be above 300km for a decent drift. With traffic its annoying. I always lose my tempo.

You can do an unlimited continuous drift pretty much if you find a good open area like an intersection. Just drift in a circle.

Blissed Away's solution worked for me like a charm. Way easier than trying to take corners without hitting walls and traffic

Drive to the other side of the loop and turn around (so gravity will help you). Get a mostly full nitrous bar by driving "oncoming" on the way there.
Use nitrous so you reach 150-200mph and drift down. If you're turning too tightly and scared of hitting the inner barrier, use the nitrous (accumulates from drifting) to help extend it and take you wider.

Got it second try this way (traffic messed up first)

I have to say the solution below is better... Mission Beach takes 30 secs

Head to mission beach and free ride. Go onto the beach itself with your Porsche 911 GT2 RS and find an open spot and drift and do donuts until you get to 1,000 yards.

Struggled with this, a video would have been very helpful. Thankfully one of the other solutions helped a lot, this solution was too vague.

In this video guide I will show you how to do a 1000 yard (915 meters) drift in the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The race location is called: Memorial Valley, and the event is called: Double Jeopardy.

This might take a few attempts. Once you get to the first set of loops on the map you can make an attempt. You have to basically drift the entire loop in one go to get the achievement. If you fail for any reason you can try it in reverse without having the cops and racers interfere. If that does not work for some reason, just try it again coming from the way the race goes. This way was also easier for me to be turning to my right side instead of my left. Also make sure to go far back enough to get speed and make sure you have a full bar of boost. The boost definitely helps push you through the loop quicker, making the drift easier. You will more likely get it in a few tries without the cops and racers interfering. Also hopefully watching the video will help with some insight as well. Once you get the loop in one drift the achievement will pop in the race.
