For Dodge: It's not the simple Dodge Viper SRT 10, but its version ACR, which is in the category beyond: Exotic series.
Better to choose this one, as, on Rockingham Point - Hotting up, you get an additional spike (for a total of 4). I would not recommend Avalanche race, because in the many turns, the spike will slide from the inner to the extern, letting a cop to easily avoid the spike.

In this video guide I will show you how to spike a cop while driving a Black Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR or Ford Shelby GT500 Supersnake. The race location is called: Fox Lair Pass, and the event is called: Avalanche.
Pretty simple, just select the Ford GT500, and make sure the color is on black. Once the map is loaded up just get to the first cop. Make sure your spike strips are ready to go and slow down in front of the cop and throw down the spike strip right in front of him. The achievement will pop right away in the race.

Better to choose for this, the Dodge Viper SRT 10, in version ACR which is the category beyond regarding the Ford; knowing: in Exotic series.
-I would not recommend the Ford Shelby GT500 Supersnake on For Lair Pass - Avalanche run, as others do, because this car is heavy with propulsion, so the turns will be badly manageable. In addition, this option of a run with many turns will let the cop easily avoid your spikes, since these ones fatally slide from the inner of the turn, to the extern - so the cop artificial intelligence, whatever adaptative, also knows a database of such facts, and will fudge (or "dodge") the spike in driving more in the intern.
-Better than that, choose the Exotic series Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR, set its colour on black (about the 5th one in the colour set); don't be surprised: your car will appear as being mainly black, but as it is actually Viper Black, some rows on your car still are red.
Then, do the Rockingham Point - Hotting up. There, compared to "Avalanche", you have an additional spike, for a total of 4, (instead of 3). Notice that this run is done with the Exotic series being sensibly more powerful; so: more excitement, and higher speed, what let a littler margin of reaction to the cops, to avoid your spike. On this run, spikes will mainly slide more or less straitly. Just focus one of the cops in the rearview-mirror and drop your spike under his car. Unlike some achievement which however did not mention to win; here, the achievement will effectively be validated on the act, during the run. I nevertheless recommend that you finish the run; you could get a time-score good surprise.
