How to unlock the Street of Dreams achievement in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered - Definitive Guide
This achievement was buggy when I tried doing it in freeroom. Simply go to the event called which is a Gauntlet event "Barnstormer" it took me 3 times doing this even for the Achievement to pop. I hope this helps. 😃

You're welcome. I found it faster than doing the 2nd mission with the Speedster

In this video guide I will show you how to drive the Porsche 911 Speedster for 20 miles (32.1 kilometers). The location is called: Grand Ocean Coast, and the event is called: Coast to Coast.
Now I tried free dive and it did not count. So just make sure to choose a race that is car is available in. I chose this race, and all I did is drive to the end and half way back, then finished the race to guarantee the achievement. You can also see the miles driven in any car in the info box before selecting the car and color.

Around level seven, you should unlock a Gauntlet in Eagle Crest called Barnstormer. It's incredibly easy, and the game forces you into the Porsche 911 Speedster for this by default. And if you take out the two spawning cop Lamborghinis, you won't have ANY more cops to deal with for the rest of the run, I can guarantee it! You'll still hear the police radio operator advising units that you've moved onto other roads or gone off-road, but I can legitimately guarantee if you take out the two cops on the roadside waiting to chase you in the first couple of miles/kilometres, no more police units will spawn whatsoever, no ground units, no helicopter, no roadblocks.
The first one spawns after the first lazy right-hander, and it'll be parked just off the side of the freeway, you'll see him before he sees you, just make sure you're all the way to the right and ready to hit him hard from behind before he can get going, a little nitrous right before you hit him helps.
The second cop spawns after the first tunnel, again all the way to the right, sitting off to the side, just like the first one, just line him up for the hit, wail him from behind (again, nitrous helps but not ultimately necessary!), and then enjoy the rest of your run cop-free!
It'll take three of these runs to accumulate the mileage necessary for the achievement, but DO NOT FREAK OUT on the third run when you cross the threshold for the achievement and it doesn't pop right away, you're required to finish the run before the achievement will pop during post-race awards, relax.
The other guides are great, but the other Gauntlet guide didn't mention you can take out the cops to provoke a complete despawn of the police, that's why I wrote this guide. Less headaches without the cops getting in your way, you're welcome TA.
