How to unlock the Manual Transmission achievement in Need For Speed ProStreet - Definitive Guide
You must win 5 non-drag events while in manual transmission.
If you aren't very good at driving manual you can just wait and use a car that's completely out of the other driver's leagues in any grip races in the first areas. Depending on how much better your car is, you can just stay in 3rd or 4th gear the entire race. They don't have to be different races, you can just win the same one 5 times.

Very easy if you go back to the first races. Manual isnt as hard as I thought it would be...

Just Finish the game.
Near the end you will achieve the Car off Ryu Wanakabe ( or something like that ) when you beat him in his races.
This overpowered car is very good to get this achievement with.
Get in the car and drive the first stage ( battle Machine ) and do there all the GRIP races.
Try to get in 3rd gear and stay in that gear the whole race.
With easy you will get the achievement
And remember 5 diffrent races. I just did 5 diffrent GRIP races
