How to unlock the Ryo's Record 9 achievement in Need For Speed ProStreet - Definitive Guide
This is quite an easy record to beat, just get a decent wheelie car, I used a fully upgraded Corvette C5, and wheelie, I managed to pull a 1200ft wheelie and blew Ryo's record out of the water!!!.
One tip, it seems the right hand lane of the drag strip is bugged in some way, I would suggest only trying to wheelie on the left side, because you seem to drift and hit the posts in the middle of the track on the right side.

The right hand lane can be problematic, but not with every car. I could not race in the right lane in my Supra without hitting the posts, but when I tried in the '06 Mustang I got for beating the drag king I managed it fine, and this was how I eventually went far enough to beat Ryo.

For those of you not using the outdated Imperial measuring system. 1200 Feet = 365 Metres

I agreen with every the the first post says i did it with a charger R/T stage 3 everything with stiff suspension on front and soft on rear and the ride hieght on high and i got 1275 and got max grip 3 times super easy! Also stay away from the right side you will eat pole every time. Turn off auto save so you dont lose your money or cards if needed youll need roughly 300,000 to do this butter with autosave gone once the achievement pops just dashboard and reload and your back to ground one. In fact i did this with all ryo achievwments lol. Also for this one turn off tje clutch to make it easier :) if you need help let me know

I got this using the Posche Carrera S. In the Left hand lane (as Danowat32 says, you CANNOT wheelie in the Right hand lane), get a Max Grip and try to keep your nose up into 4th gear, then hit the Nitros. My best was about1255ft. With no damage this gives a score of around 9,757. More than enough.
