How to unlock the Bounty Hunter achievement in Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed - Definitive Guide

Fastest Way to Grind Money:
GT1 Championship -> Hockenheim Day & Night Tour
win the first 2 races normal (= 46.000cr on easy)
win the 3rd race but after the race hit B to race again
now you get for each win 59.000cr (on easy ~ 5min) because you get also championship bonus, but this is not shown -> but you will see it when you leave the championship wink

When you leave the championship you have to start again from the first race!

When does the achievement actually pop? Since you didn't say it pops up after you exit out i guess you get it after the race that gains you your $10,000,000?

It pops when you reach the 10mio -> you don't have to exit the championship

@Serge Goujon ;; It's basically like this. You win $23,000 (first race,) $23,000 (second race,) $23,000+$34,500 (last race [assuming it's on easy]). When you repeat the last race and win 1st again, you keep getting the $23,000+$34,500.

Is there anywhere to check how much you have in winnings already?

@GERCO827 in the stats in your auto log. Does anyone know if you get an extra cash bonus if I were to do this on a harder difficulty? If so, how much more?

@Evil Toaster; I can confirm you do get a little more on harder difficulties. I'm playing on hard (going for hard wins at the same time) and I'm getting $27, 000 a win (still got $24, 000 for 2nd)

There is a different way to do this as well. I think it may be quicker once you get to the final race. Go to the GT1 championship and do the same thing as above and when you finish the final race you will receive 123,000 every time. I can personally confirm this is possible and I got about 3.2 million in just under 3 hours. The final race took me about 6:20, so you can get 123,000 every 6 and a half minutes. The only bad thing about this way is that it takes almost an hour to make it to the final race, but once you get there you can earn more money than the other way. Credit goes to "Damican" from xbox360achievements.com for the method.

It sounds good but only suitable for players who have 5 hours to spare and replay the same thing over and over again.

But still a good alternative

Worked perfectly. Good thing is that you can race in parts as many as you want, spend one hour to get to this last race on Zolder and than race whenever and how many times you want, if you don't have more time just quit an repeat this one 120k race any other time.

Also if you play career on hard you get more money. I finished mine with around 8 mill. on account.

I am chasing this achievement but also need the 75 wins on hard and so was looking for a method that achieved both at the same time. The top 2 solutions are both great, but the first only gives a small championship bonus and the second takes ages to get to the bonuses. This solution is designed to be a middle road.

I found that by using a tuned, but not upgraded, Radical SR3 that you could do the Cities of the World Tour (Works Cars) on hard and win the races pretty comfortably.

For a decent starting tune have a look here:-

http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=196236

You get 22,000 per win and a series bonus of 55,000 on hard. There are 5 races and each takes between 4:30 and 6:00, but the one thing I found helpful was that they were no night races so it was much easier to see what you were doing and the Radical is a much easier car to drive than the really twitchy GT1 cars.

The last race is replayed using the B option at the end of the race, as for the other solutions, and takes about 5:00 with the Radical.

Ok the $10.000.000 o joys lol

Well let me start off by saying
after i finished 100% of the career i had a little over $4.600.000

Now ther is no FAST way to do this... its 1 hella grind.

BUT THER IS GOOD NEWS IS ITS GLITCHD IN A GOOD WAY

3 PPL who i know have unlocked it before 10millon

i unlocked it at 9.5millon and 1 unlocked it round 7.7millon

but its still a grind lol.

now ther are a 3/4 ways of doing this :) i will tell you them all
and you can make you mind up what 1 to use will update if i find a faster way

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Way Number 1

GT1 Championship -> Hockenheim Day & Night Tour
win the first 2 races on easy (= $46.000)
win the 3rd race but after the race hit B to race again
now you get for each win 59.000cr on easy
because you get also championship bonus, but this is not shown
but you will see it when you leave the championship.

Now this way is fast but its not all ways 59k tust. i did 14 races come 1st and have gotten
$636.000 coming 1st each time. that a wi shy of the $828.000 that 59k x 14 comes to.

but lets go by the 59k you need to do 20 races to get $1.180.000 give or take a bit.

so do 20 by 5mins 1hour 40mins to 20 wins.
1
i like this way very much but gets boring.

credits to DeaconFrost2k

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Way Number 2

FIA- GT1 Championship -> Crucuit Zolder
win the 9 races On easy (birght side is you will net $207.000 from the 1st 9 races.)

win the 10th race but after the race hit B to race again
Now you will get $110.000-130,000 per win.

Now this is in deed a hella faster way as a post to 59k x 10 = $590.000 you get 110k x 10 = $1.100.000

so by doing the same as above 20 races will net you $2.100.000 in just over/ under 2 hours so its up
to you.

but what you dont see is the down side of haveing to spend 1hour geting to the 10th race. but when
you get ther its much more cash for about 5mins-7mins a race as to 59k a race.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Way Number 3

Now i got a lot this 4.1 Millon this is my Way ( with out doing GT1 & Endurance races - to save time)

Simple i put 2 and 2 to gether i got just other 4.6millon in career mode.

now i just replayed all events now i know it might seem like * wow is this guy for real?*
but in 3/4 hours i made 4.1Millon from replaying all events. now im NOT going to say this is the fastest,
it might be it might not be but its better than doing the same track over & over
and it worked fine for me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Way Number 4

Ther is a new way flying about thats a real time saver ( SO THEY SAY )so here it is
You will need speed hunters for this

Darg
1320 Outlaws Championship
wins the 1st 2 rounds

on the 3rd round press b when you win

now i knows its only $100 but the bonus is 29k ( IM QOTEING WHAT I READ)

now in 2/3 mins or less you net 29k so if its ture

in 20 races you net $580.000 in just under 45mins

NOW TAKE NOTE I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS SO I DONT KNOW I READ IT ON X360A IN A POST
IT MIGHT BE BS OR TURE I REALLY DONT KNOW

I STILL THINK WAY 2 IS BETTER THO.

Start grinding this one after you're done with your career. Even then you'll be halfway to 10 million at best.

In the GT1 section select Hockenheim Day & Night. Drive the first two races like you normally would. When you have raced and won the third event select "Play Again" by pressing cn_O. Repeat the race for as long as you can stand the game. By doing this you will not only get the money for first place everytime but also the bonus cash for winning the tournament. Make sure not to back out, otherwise you'll have to start at the first race again.

It is enough to do this on easy difficulty. Everytime you complete that race you'll get:

- 23.000 for winning the race
- 34.500 for winning the tournament

57.500 per race. Not bad for ~5 minutes. If you do it on a higher diff you'll get slightly more of course. Don't be fooled though. It will still take quite a while to get to 10 million.

As for the car...I went with the Chevrolet Corvette C6.R GT1. The Maserati MC12 GT1 is faster but the Vette handles better. Your choice in the end.

There is a much easier and faster way.

1. Branch GT1. Hockenheim 3 races. You go through 1st, 2nd races, then the 3rd. After you have completed the 3rd race, do not press , and press and replay Hockenheim at night until you reach 10 million.

2. In total, for winning the 3rd race you will receive 23, 25 or 27 thousand (depending on the difficulty) and for first place at the stage another 34 to 40 thousand (depending on the difficulty).

3. Consider an easy difficulty level. For every 5 minutes 15 seconds we get 23+34 = 57 thousand dollars. thus for 10 races = 570 thousand, which will take approximately 1 hour.

In about 8 hours we get the missing amount. If you drive well, then on Hard you can do it in 7 hours.

There is another method a little more complicated than described above.

Works branch. World City Championship. Gumpert Apollo car with factory modification.

The difficulty is that it consists of 5 races, but for the podium they give 50,000 on average difficulty.

It turns out that by restarting the last race you will receive 50000+20000=70000.

Plus, the race is completed in less than five minutes. My time is 4.52.

There are about 12-13 races per hour. 12*70000=840000/hour.

Be careful there are often accidents on the roads, so look at the map more often. This is especially true for the Riviera track.

PS My trophy dropped to 9850000.
