How to unlock the King Of The Hill achievement in Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed - Definitive Guide

The trophy is made by two people, or to make it a little faster, by three people. Each will take approximately 6-10 hours. Depends on hits on each other and disconnects.

The ideal option is three of you.

Each person has 3 accounts. Since the loser folds to 1, you need to raise your main accounts up in a battle with each other. There you already look at who needs to be raised so that you can later be at the top and take the crown.

The first player raises accounts from 1 to 2 and tries to get to the 2nd level himself. If this works, then he pushes to the 3rd.

The remaining players are already raising themselves to the 4th and 5th levels.

Next, you will need to re-login from other accounts, because... you need at least 2 players to be of the same level in order to climb up the stairs.

When you reach level 7, look online for people with a crown, they will share it with you, this way you won’t need to drag two people to level 7 and you will save several hours of time.

As noted above, almost 90% of the people on the Internet don’t want to drive cleanly, but simply knock out in the first turn; if they spin out, then the chances of winning are negligible.

As of November 2018, the trophy can only be obtained via boost; the “Duel Championship” mode is empty.

I will describe the boost method from two consoles with a minimum number of accounts and re-entries into the game.

What you will need:
- Two consoles.
- 6 accounts on each console (12 DIFFERENT accounts in total!).
- 10-15 hours of time for the “Crown” for the first participant (if there is a “Crown” for each subsequent participant - half as much time).
- Strong nerves (if you leave Autolog, progress may be lost)...

Important points:
- The game connects accounts with each other only at the same stage of the tournament - you need to completely create the playoff bracket with several accounts.
- You do not need to reach the Final, as you might think, but to the Championship stage - this is 2 times longer if you have a person with the “Crown”, or 4 times longer - if there is no such person.
- The one who is boosted with “Crown” rides and quickly gets victories, his partner can stand still; it kicks for AFK, but not very soon, but there may be network breaks with Autolog after which both will be thrown out to the first stage, so it’s better not to stay in the race for a long time, so let the second one not move at all - this way the race ends faster!
- If the one who is being boosted, due to a poor connection to the network, locks the controls by sticking them into the side (this happens) - the one who loses quickly leaves the match through Start.
- And the most IMPORTANT thing for owners of TWO PS3 consoles: if you have reached a certain stage on one console, then do not enter the “Duel Championship” mode under this account on another console - the game will reset the progress on the server for this account and you will be start from the first stage of the tournament!!

Designations:
K1A1 - Console 1 Account 1.
K2A1 - Console 2 Account 1...
and so on.
K1F1 - Console 1 Finalist 1 (whom we take from this console to the Final).
K2F1 - Console 2 Finalist 1 (whom we take from this console to the Final).
and so on.
The arrow in the tournament bracket points in the direction of whoever wins.

Tournament grid.

Qualifying round
K1A1 <- K2A1
K1A2 <- K2A1
K1A3 <- K2A1
K1F1 <- K2A1
K1A4 -> K2A1
K1A4 -> K2A2
K1A4 -> K2A3
K1A4 -> K2A4

Round 2
K1F1 <- K2A4
K1A1 -> K2A1
K1A2 -> K2A2
K1A3 <- K2A3

Round 3
K1A3 -> K2A1
K1F1 <- K2A2

Quarterfinals
K1F1 <- K2A1

Qualifying round
K1A1 -> K2A1
K1A1 -> K2A2
K1A1 -> K2A3
K1A1 -> K2F1
K1A1 <- K2A4
K1A2 <- K2A4
K1A3 <- K2A4
K1A4 <- K2A4

Round 2
K1A4 -> K2F1
K1A1 <- K2A1
K1A2 <- K2A2
K1A3 -> K2A3

Round 3
K1A2 <- K2A3
K1A1 -> K2F1

Quarterfinals
K1A2 -> K2F1

Semi-final
K1F1 -> K2F1

At this point, we have brought only 1 account to the Final stage, and to reach the Championship we need 4 accounts at this stage!
We repeat the previous stages of the tournament, only instead of K2F1, the K2F2 account will participate in the tournament.

Semi-final (2nd round)
K1F1 <- K2F2

Final 1
K1F1 -> K2F1 (one of those who receive the trophy)

At this point, we received the first participant at the Championship stage. If this is the second participant in the boost, or if you find a person with a valid “Crown”, then you only have 1 match left until the trophy, otherwise we repeat all previous stages and bring the second participant into the Championship stage, after which we get the “Crown” for the first participant in the boost .

in terms of time - it took us 10-11 hours for three of us to start from scratch, if you don’t be stupid, quickly change your accounts so that while 1 changes your account, 2 and 3 go to the race, then it won’t take that long.

The most difficult trophy in the game. To get the crown you need to go through a whole series of 7 races without losing, conquering step after step. Having lost one, we start over. To succeed, you need to drive well, but also have a little luck. Of course, there is no 100% advice, but I will give a few recommendations that helped me in passing:
1. Starting from stage 2, the tracks and cars vary, so you can choose a track and a car, choose a difficult track, preferably where there are no safety boards, so that if an opponent makes a mistake, he will fly off the track, otherwise on tracks where there are boards, some individuals even They are not afraid to fly away, but on the contrary, they slow down later, and besides, they can push you when turning. But don't forget to practice fast racing.
2. The key to success is a perfect start; for this, while standing at the start, turn on 1st gear We bring the engine speed to the bright green zone and wait for the go-ahead signal to start.
3. Very often there are collisions on the highway, do not rush to immediately respawn the car, assess the situation, if you see that you can hold the car, then try to return to the right direction. Often this gives an advantage, if the opponent presses respawn, he stands still for some time, only then starts moving, this will give you an advantage if you can do without resetting the car.
4. If you are catching up with an opponent, do not try to push him from behind, in 90% of cases you will be turned around and the race will not end in your favor. It’s better to get around him at the turn by braking well and along the inner radius, and you’ll also be able to push your competitor overboard.
