Need for Speed Unbound

You may or may not remember me from NFS HEAT where I set up a drift tune for everyone struggling in that game… so here we go again!!

Here’s my drift set up to help those who haven’t got or is struggling to get the achievement…

I done this in the MULTIPLAYER SECTION

First off the car… if you are an EA PLAY MEMBER this car will be given to you for FREE!! If your not a member the standard car will cost you $85,000

(Play around with these settings as this may not work for your style)

If you got the EA Members car I got rid of that horrendous body kit and added the LB Walk kit but this shouldn’t affect anything…

Small tip… micro-drifting (moving left thumb stick left/right) helps a lot on straights, when it comes to big corners press the X button to whip the back end out, try and use all the space and be quick you are timed remember!!

You may get these done first time round you may not, but best thing to do is get a feel for each drift course and get a feel for the car!! it will eventually pay off

I hope this guide helps you in some way to get the achievement, beating the rival is not part of the achievement but helps towards BANK!

::: EDIT ::: if you are struggling with the set up above there is another car, and you also get it for free!! The Dodge Charger Demon SRT 2019 (purple/black car) you win it in career mode, but if you didn’t get it during your story mode go back in and keep going through the DAYS till it appears, once won it will be available in the Online garage, again upgrade all parts too ELItE and set it too 100%drift and it should be as good if not better than the Fairlady above…

For the Drift Zones, modification with the LR Defender you get as a story mode reward in week one is a good choice. I put better drift tires on it and got the off road suspension, but remember to modify the handling either in the shop or in the pause menu.

Okay, so I used three things for this achievement.
1. Walkthrough written by N30YRD.

Tuning I used:
Base engine 247 hp 2.0L I4
Every engine part is elite
Elite road suspension
Elite drift tires
Brakes and drivetrain parts elite

Handling tuning:
All three bars to the right
Traction control disabled
Drift only with the brake on

This way I was able to complete all drift zones with three stars for a maximum of three attempts. There is no need to beat the score given in the trials, you just need to earn three stars.

A$AP Rocky’s Mercedes-Benz 190E will only be available to purchase after you beat him in his Head to Head race. It will cost you $350,000 and it can be found under the Buy Custom tab in the Buy and Sell menu.

You will actually get to drive the car in a sort of preview event once you reach the 3rd week. On Thursday night, A$AP Rocky will call you saying he is scouting the competition for The Lakeshore Grand. Simply drive up to the location he pins you and you will get to take it for a spin for a few minutes.

Just put on drift tires and handle tuning to give as much drift as possible / traction control OFF.

I would say that with this one everyone will become a drift king. If it still rains, it's a complete bomb.

Make use of all the space that's been given to you and wiggle left and right. Even when the car doesn't look like it's drifting, the tire smoke and the drift distance meter will indicate that it is. Even though it looks dumb, it's the only way to beat Rival scores (which aren't essential for this achievement anyway).
