How to unlock the Flow Master achievement in Need for Speed Unbound - Definitive Guide

The description says "during a Takeover event" but I never managed a number this high in takeover. I did this achievement in DRIFT EVENT, this particular achievement in Takahashi Special for S+ class. I did it on day two after completing story mode, because I was waiting for a big final Takeover event that never came. I used Dodge Charger R/T 1969 with 100% drift setup and it was a mistake, that car sucks, I suggest Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat 2019
obviously tuned for drifting.
Here is a video of my finish.

As stated above, needed to use a drift event. Was able to grab the S+ Takahashi Special on Week 4 Night 3. Just tuned my Grip Porsche to 55% drift and it worked fine. Grabbed 266k on my first try having broken the combo twice. Use restarts if you arent able to get it first try. Scan the map for the event before leaving the garage to tune car appropriately.

This is the way. Took me 3 attempts but got 289k in the end and also broke my combo twice. Used the hellcat 100% drift tune. Week 3 day 2 also.

I used 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat with drift tune to get 3 stars in drift zones with ease. Maybe it is just me, but it seemed to be the best drift car I had.

Manage to make 251 first try, in the Takahashi évent Witherspoon Nissan GTR full neutral upgrade with 20 % drift in the car settings.

I would recommend trying to go for as many of the combo bonuses as possible, then break your combo intentionally but keep your multiplier. I'm pretty sure the only reason I was able to hit over 250k is because I hit the combo bonuses 20+ times throughout the drift event.

Very helpful making an S+ 60% drift Silvia K (had to waste quite a bit of money with an engine swap and every other mod)got this first try on the Takahashi Special (post game day 2) just keep drifting. The WHOLE time. You look like an idiot, but perhaps that's the point. Got 280k EZ even with 1 or 2 reset checkpoints.

Just got this acheevo on my 2nd attempt in Takahashi Special event with 251,606 pts. Used the Silvia K that we get after completing the Grand. Handling set to %60 drift. Used drift tires, elite clutch, sport differential and nitrous drift auxiliary. It was challenging for me since we almost need to hold the drift + nitrous combo until the end of race. Sometimes i was about to miss checks since car is hard to control. Thank you for this guide. This dodge charger helped me to get 200K score achievement on my first try. Good luck to everyone who tryna hunt this!

Thank you Brianstormed, I finally got it following your recommendation of going for combo bonuses, then breaking it once you get to three of them but keeping my 5x multiplier. Got it my first try when focusing on breaking that combo bonus. Got 300k points!!!

This is a good solution, but just in case there's anyone else like me that seemed to find this achievement an unreasonable struggle - I finally got it with the drift-tuned Hellcat on a practice takeover at the northwest meetup. Took 5 or 6 tries to put a decent run together, but on the succesful run I took the first couple of laps to clear out most of the smashables, drifting when I could between gates, then final lap was almost all drift and just fast as possible, picking up any purple barrels that were left along the way. I navigated lines of smashables by pretty much braking to a stop and nitro tapping to run through them. I also stopped to bank score once the combo maxed out so I could earn more combo bonuses - which I'd say was essential, as I wouldn't have cracked 250k without them.

I tried other takeovers, but they just didn't seem to have quite enough smashables or driftable loops to hit the score. I also tried the takehashi but just couldn't seem to get the hang of the combo banking without losing my multiplier (that track is a lot narrower than takeover courses). Almost certainly due to my lack of skill, but figured I'd post this in case I'm not the only one laugh

Another alternative is just using a takeover practice site. I used the fully upgraded Hellcat as well with about 80% drift. The key is to maximize boost and drift to keep multiplier at 5 while hitting the point targets. Took a couple of tries to get the right consistency but overall not that difficult.

The 2019 charger appeared for me to win it in week 3 I’ve been running the story again for a friend and it’s not appeared to win in week 3… but the car is available for him to purchase…

Now I’m in week 4 and went to day 2 and can not get 250k tried the GTR you win for Qualifier 3… just hope the event appears again or a different drift event

Can confirm… that after the story is finished you can get both the Dodge Charger as a winnable car and the Takahashi event will appear…

If it doesn’t appear just go out start a cop chase, escape and head home until the event appear

I found the Hellcat 2019 with a 100% drift tune to be a pretty bad car for this, really slow, only got 80k on the first lap so quit out.

I ended up using the Silvia K you win at the end of the story, handling set to the right at 60% drift, managed to get 281k with a lot of serpentining on the straights.

I finnaly cracked it, first reach to x5 multiplier. Then drift as hard as you can, reach 5k points while drifting and fully stop. Let the points fully register. Tap the nitrous quickly afterwards so you don't lose your multiplier, repeat. I got 255k easily, I didn't even smash all the obstacles. I used the Nissan Silvia K's (1998). Engine: 444 bhp 3.0l Flat 6. Max engine parts, used turbo charger elite. Chasis: Road suspension, max breaks and drift tires. Max drivetrain. Auxiliary: Nitrous drift.

I was struggling with this one, 40% - 50% drift car and kennedy test track takeover event in free roam during the day. Got 248k second try, then 271k 5 or 6 tries after that lol drift setup with regular tyres for some reason? drift tyres aren't that good.

I managed to do it at the "Street Style is Everything" event on Tuesday night. It seemed easier on him. My advice is, don’t knock down everything at once on the first round until you reach a x5 multiplier; as soon as you reach the multiplier, try to knock down as many objects as possible at a time, thus making long chains. Drift is needed here more in order to maintain the multiplier.

Made a lot of attempts at Takeover "Street Style is Everything", but always came up a little short. In the end, I decided to try my hand at the Tahakashi Special (S+) drift event and on the third attempt I calmly scored 270k and the trophy dropped.
I did it on a Mazda RX-7 Spirit R (2002), you can buy it custom for 250k. By Handling setting: Drift 100%, the other two in the middle. I just swerved all the way and scored the required number of points.

I also did an achievement on Takahashi, scored 258,000 points the first time, in principle I thought it would be more difficult, it is important not to add points to the score until you accumulate an X5 multiplier, then just maintain the pace, not too slow, otherwise you won’t pay much for drifting

"Street Style is Everything" race, Tuesday night, A+ car, Heat Level 3 required.
I recommend a custom Mazda RX-7 Spirit R (2002) S class for 250,000, downgraded to A+ and with maximum drift tires. We start the race and, with constant drifting, try not to let the points count until we reach a x5 multiplier. Then we just hold it and constantly drift, simultaneously knocking down everything that comes along the way.

After completing the story, I had a Takeover "Street Style is Everything" on Thursday night (apparently there is a randomization of when and what missions). If it doesn’t work out, take a car with a clear bias towards drifting - more drifting will give more points.
The second point is that this award can also be obtained at Drift races, in particular Tahakashi Special (S+ drift). But it still turned out to be more difficult to get on it than on this Takeover (Mazda RX8, which was given somewhere as a reward - I used it)

The easiest thing to do here is, in particular, the Mazda 8 is pumped for drifting and endless restarts. Easier and faster than Takashi or what was written above

The daily training level with unlimited restarts is called Style is out. Located in the center of the map. (A level with the same name appears in the north of the map.) Style is everything is the same, but at night and with a limited number of restarts. It took me 3 weeks to figure it out

I absolutely support Swat225’s comment, I did it in the afternoon on Tue on the Style is out track, I didn’t even have to restart, I got 260+ points on the mazda rx8 the first time.
By the way, 2 trophies dropped at once, for 200K and 250K points
