How to unlock the Can I Get Your Autograph? achievement in Need for Speed - Definitive Guide

It's 5,925,000 rep to get to level 50.

A fast method for earning rep (and cash) is to play short hard difficulty races over and over. They give the same amount of rep no matter how many times you complete them. It's 19,500 rep plus whatever you earn from performing actions like drifting.

Fueled By the Fire is an pretty easy time trial with mostly straightaways and only takes around 90 seconds to complete. Half Past Ignite is under two minutes as well if you're decent at drifting. You'll get around 30k total each time.

After you've completed the event, you can teleport back to the event and repeat as many times as you need to.

I was around 43 when I was done the story missions. Then it was a couple of hours of Fueled By the Fire to get to 50.

I find it easier to challenge an AI Driver to a quick race and then stay with him and challenge him over and over again, gives around 13k each time you win.

Just a little addition: "Fueled By the Fire" is actually called " Fueled For The Fire" and it is located in South Port (south island on the map). And there it is kinda in the middle/left. Icon is a stopwatch.

bs000 has a great solution! I have found another easy race as well! With the update that added the Drag Races just go to the speed tunnel drag (hard) which is slightly northwest of Franklin Terrace with a fast car, win the race which takes about 30 seconds, rinse and repeat. I think you get about 25,500 rep each time you win it.

Not sure why this has so many negatives. Works as described.
Only thing is that it takes more than 30 seconds because of the heating up of the tires. But still <60 seconds and rather easy once you get the hang of it.

Yeah this is definitely the fastest if you can do drag races well

PATCHED! I will update this if a new glitch is found. Sorry guys.

As of Feb 3rd 2016 the new Showcase patch fixed a lot of the old glitches that you could use to get this achievement but three new glitches have been found. I'm not trying to take away anything from the other solutions I'm just simply pointing out that there are three new methods to get to level 50 REP without having to play at all. The only thing that's needed for all glitches is the Volkswagen Golf GTI (1979) which costs $7200.

All instructions are in the videos. All credit for the videos goes to the uploader: Biig Money.

A good tip from Spilner, "Works nicely and the random times you can get a perfect nitrous bonus (use full without 'crashing') you can quickly teleport away for a nice 2x what you gained."

You will need about 6 million rep for level 50.

The first three videos below are probably the easiest:

If the above glitches doesn't seem to work for you then you can try the one below. Personally I think it's a harder glitch to get into but to each their own.

Goodluck!

REP is earned by completing main missions and events such as circuit races, sprints, drag trails & touges. To reach level REP level 50 you must earn roughly 5,925,000 REP. This will take roughly twenty hours.

You will most likely be between level 40-45 once you have completed all 79 story missions, at this point you can reply any event on the map as many times as you like and earn the same amount of the original REP reward plus the extra REP you earn from driving skills each time. A good event to make quick REP on is the "Fueled for the Fire" (Hard) Time Trial event. You can earn roughly 40,000 REP in this event every two minutes.
