How to unlock the Single Take Star achievement in Need for Speed - Definitive Guide
This achievement is story related, obtained about halfway the "Style" path (the one with the yellow map markers).
After a cutscene in which Manu decides to mimic a gymkana created by Ken Block, you'll have two new yellow missions, one is a drift contest and the other a time trial. Once you complete these (for no tuning aficionados like me, remember, use the general parameter slider with drift settings [left] for the drift one, and grip settings [right] for the racing one), you'll be ready for the gymkana.
This event mixes style and speed, so you should set your parameters inbetween drift and grip, ideally in the middle.
The event requires you to finish a timed sprint while obtaining 63000 drift points. Don't obsess about the drifting as the track is long and you'll have plenty of opportunity to get points, specially in a couple of spiral sections. So focus on your speed, use nitro on the highway sections, and do long drifts only in safe, open turns. As long as you don't crash a lot, this should be easy.
