This can also be done in single player trials, best thing to do is find turrets and shield block them until your shield is about 120. Then back away round a corner and let it cool off, rinse and repeat until it’s done :)

This trophy is going to require at least one other player. This game has crossplay between the PS4 and PS5 versions, so you do not need another player that is on the same version as you. If you have 2 consoles (A PS4 and a PS5, 2 PS5s, or 2 PS4s) you can play with yourself to boost this on your own.
When you hold
, you will hold up a shield that blocks darts. This shield becomes increasingly overheated the longer you hold it and the more darts it blocks. You need to block 1000 darts with this shield cumulatively to get this trophy.
Recommended game settings:

Game mode: Solo Nerf Out
Map: Viking Village (This is one of the smallest maps)
