How to unlock the Dragons achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

Dont scream when you wanna go for this achievement...you can get it really fast.

When you reach level 54 you can play the:

"Caverns of Karrundax".....you gonna kill 7 dragons on the way...6 small and 1 big (the final boss)
Just keep playing this dungeon to you get the achievement

Zone doesn't matter for this as when appropiate level it can be queued from anywhere. Also I prefer this method as opposed to the kill yourself 500 times one on the 1000 dragons kill method.

This is the way I'm going for Dragon's Bane as well. All though, I'm also killing campaign dragons so I can get boons too.

Go to Epic Caverns of Karrundax. Epic has like ten dragons. You can go for this achievement and the Giants one simultaneously.

how do you join this dungeon? when i hit pause/start, go to queues, i get 5 dungeons to pick and this doesnt appear, im level 59

Everyone knows what a dragon looks like… it’s just a matter of finding and killing them. Dragons are found in 'Heroic Encounters' and 'Dungeon Delves' mostly. All dragon encounters are level 30'ish to start and increase in difficulty up to level 60. Heroic Encounters are basically an open world event; meaning you can take a group to the area the dragon spawns in and take it down. Even random players in the area can assist with killing the dragon; there is no Queue for HE's. If you want, you can just wait around for people to show up and assist in killing it. Upon death the dragon will re-spawn in 20 minutes. Kill 50 to start and the achievement is yours... only 950 left!

Instance dragon farming: Hopefully you breezed over the roadmap and saw the bit about 'Instances.' This is key to getting a lot of dragon kills in short order. In the main menu under the 'Quest' tab, you should see a title called 'Change Instance'. This allows you to jump to other 'instances' in the same zone. The game is one server, but the players are broken up into these 'instances' so as to not overpopulate the zone. In Heroic Encounter dragon zones, you'll see the chat window light up with people calling out times on dragons with a number; the number is the instance they are in. All instances are on slightly different timers when it comes to dragon spawns, so you can bounce from one to the next killing a dragon in each instance. This is how people are grinding out mass amounts of dragon kills in a short time.

Charthraxis: Found in Neverdeath Graveyard.
Vartilingorix: Found in Ebon Downs.
Merothrax: Found in Icespire Peak.
Venfithar: Found in Rothé Valley.
Vilithrax: Found in Whispering Caverns.

Well of Dragons Heroic Encounters: (spawn at 45 past the hour and you have 10 minutes to kill all five).
Rogrotus (black dragon)
Kradazuur (blue dragon)
Volzakaris (green dragon)
Hohengroth (red dragon)
Glycamerax (white dragon)
Tiamat: Found in the Temple of Tiamat raid

Dungeon Delve Dragons: Epic Difficulties.
Lostmauth: Lair of Lostmauth (Tyranny of Dragons campaign).

The progress of murders can be tracked in the achievements tab in the diary. You will have to figure out the trophy for 1000 dragons yourself, since there is no in-game achievement(

Two small dragons (the same as in Carrundax) found in one of the parts of the Labyrinth Machine company do not count.

Counts:
- 4 dragons in the guild fortress (my 1000th was Chrysos)
- large dragons in Dragon Spring (those that appear at 45 minutes of every hour)
- large dragons of the Siege of Neverwinter event
- Merothrax, Certarix and other dragons killed on the mission “Common Cause” (Tyranny of Dragons company)
- 3 dragons in the Karrundax caves

on easy they are made at the location of the guild fortress, we go to the location and run to the upper right corner called the Valley of Dragons and there we kill small dragons, they walk there in groups of 4-5 and we start chopping them, they count towards the score, you can also fill them there 1000
