Rothe Valley
There's loads of spiders in the Rothe Valley region (level 50-55) and you should easily get near to the 500 needed just from completing the quests in this area.
The little Spiderlings also count towards the achievement.

Ebon Downs
Great place to grind for spiders. When you first get there you will find the first set of enemies on the left hand. Above them on the ridge are nine spiders. Kill them get on your horse follow the road round. When you get to a bridge turn left then you will see five more spiders kill them then get on the horse go up to the building hall/church under one of the pillars is a big spider. Kill her and 3 more appear. Ride back and repeat until it pops.
There are spiders in some of the skirmishes but they take more time to complete.

Thanks for the tip. I just needed a few and wanted the achievement out of the way. Don't know why people want to hate. Thumbs up

You'll get this trophy for killing 500 enemies classified as Spiders. You'll know they're Spiders because the top line in the enemies name will include the phrase, example: "Spider - Phase Spiderling" (and because they LOOK like Spiders although I'm not sure whether Driders count as Drow or Spiders).
The best places to find Spiders are Rothe Valley and Ebon Downs. Ebon Downs has quite a number of spiders hanging around in groups of 3. However, outside of the village in Rothe Valley along the river you'll find spiders in groups of 5-6, specifically the small Spiderlings which are quicker to kill.
To check your progress on this trophy first press the Options button > Quests > Journal > press R1 to go to Achievements > Slayer > hit
to show them if they aren't visible and scroll down with R-stick to the Spider Slayer entries.

Found mostly in caves and dark places like Cragmire Crypts, Neverdeath Graveyard and Ebon Downs; but they have the heaviest concentration in Rothé Valley and Whispering Caverns. You'll find a boat load of spiders in the 'Temple of the Spider' dungeon delve; you can easily kill over 250 in one run with your group. You're never more than three feet away from one! Kill them with fire!
