They have massively made this achievement easier!!
Now, all you have to do is get in a Stronghold Siege match--sort of. That is the hard part because either everyone playing Siege is already playing, or there aren't many playing.
Only try to get this on the weekends! There's so few people playing, that the weekend events are your best chance to find more players, unless there's a super event going on.
When you finally get into a match, you're golden! Except, it's GLITCHY, and may or may not unlock!!
All you have to do is finish the match, you don't have to score a certain number of points or anything, as the achievement description now reads:
"You fought for your guild in a Stronghold PvP match."
In my achievement winning match, I did pretty bad. With my Haste Cleric I got slaughtered by dedicated PvP'ers, escorted some horses, built some ballistas, and that was it.
Finished with 115 points, my team got decimated rather quickly, and the achievement popped at the end.

I feel your pain. When I was trying for this, I couldn't find a match anywhere. However, it might be useful to watch the chat in Protector's Enclave--I've seen people saying to queue for Stronghold Siege and having almost enough... have you seen that?

My guild are running this at 5pm PST Friday 20 May 2016. I will also be queuing all weekend. I find the best time is Sat afternoon (US) / Evening (UK) time. Past few weekends I have got into a few matches each weekend. Don't expect to quere for 2 minutes and find a game and do not queue for multiple game modes if you want this. So find some single player activities to do and queue for this. I do Sharandar / Dread Ring and DHEs while queuing.

Got this early this morning. Only my second game... First I got booted near the end of a win... Second game got completely annihilated as a cleric (290 points and 2nd bottom). Lost the game but still got the cheeve.
Both games were around 1am uk time Saturday night/sunday morning on different weekends. Didn't queue for long. What a bitch of a cheeve!

The achievement description changes when you unlock it. Winning was never a requirement nor was it in the description.

We did boosting session today, and had 2 PVP sessions at least for me.
First session, I won at 150 score. Second session, I lost. But They didn't popped.
Maybe glitch or Unobtainable.

From what I was told, it's not actually about being on the winning team, you have to score a certain amount of points in general.

Did it with a sample size of 40, it popped for some of them when they went to guild stronghold, enclave, quit app and reopened, changed instance and for one of them when they opened the official group. Seems to just be super buggy.
I had 505 points. Others had 300-1000. The people under 300 didn't answer if it popped so no idea.

Ok... I have a suggestion which you might be able to do, which I've done before several times when I was desperate for achievements like this. :-)
What you need to do is message a LOT of people.
1. Go to your friends list for this achievement, go to the top completions of Neverwinter who don't have this achievement, and message up to 500 of those people about a session you're posting.
2. It will take some time yes, but it's better than waiting for hours in queue.
3. Your inbox will probably be stuffed full.
4. Out of 500 people, you will probably get enough! Explain how difficult it is to get normally and you'll get more people.
5. Try to have everyone queue at the same time, and whichever team has more TA'ers, all go stand in a corner and let the other team wreck your stronghold.
6. And repeat because it's going to be glitchy!!
Stupid achievements like this require outrageous methods unfortunately..
Of course, if you're in a nice guild, they might queue up with you and save you a lot of trouble! :-)

Is there any chance people are still working on this? Maybe to work on setting up a session? I sit in the queue 100% of the time I am online now, have been for weeks, and siege never pops up to even try...

I just hosted a huge session for this, 300 points appeared to be the minimum required. There was often a large delay for the achievement to pop but it appeared that everyone under 300 never got it. Some had to travel to their stronghold while others had to reboot the game. We had a sample size of 30ish players.
