How to unlock the I'm a Lumberjack achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

The daily quest in Lonleywood called "Before the Mast" is the quest that lets you chop down trees. It will pop up about every 4 days. You can use the same trick as the fishing achievement and discard the wood before you complete the quest and keep cutting down trees until you have the achievement.

You will more than likely unlock this by time you have enough rep and supplies to unlock the dungeon, so the discard trick isn't really necessary unless you want to get the achievement over with sooner.

The trees you need to cut down always have a standing torch next to them and have a slightly different look and color to all the other trees. Also if you get to a point where you can't cut down trees anymore because too many other people have recently cut the trees then just move to another instance of the zone.

I think they've eliminated dailies in the latest update. Any idea how this affects the achievement?

This is a daily quest you can receive in Lonelywood called "Before the Mast." You'll be tasked with chopping down trees that the townsfolk need to make new masts for their ships. There are trees everywhere in this zone, but you'll be looking for specific trees to chop down.

As you traverse the wooded areas, you'll sometimes notice a torch next to a post with a red banner or scarf hanging from it. Right next to this marker will be a tree you can cut. There is no extra equipment for this task; you're not given an axe or anything. You're required to cut down five trees, so you'll have to do this quest at least five times to reach the 25 target.

You can check your progress to this achievement by visiting the "Quest" tab in the main menu, then enter your "Journal." Once inside, tab over to "Achievements" and scroll down to "General." Click to "Show Available;" if you scroll down some you should see an entry for "I'm a Lumberjack." It will give you an accurate count of how many trees you've cut and need to cut.

Trees can only be cut during this quest and only 5 per day.
In order not to wait 5 days: I cut down 5 trees, canceled the task and took it again. Repeated until they gave me the trophy.

To access this location, you need a reputation of 40 in Bryn Shander and must have completed the quest "Save the Lonelywood Refugees".
