How to unlock the Of The League achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

League's Elite Gear is almost lowest level of the 5 new levels of gear in Chult. It is item level 430. Regular League's Gear is item level 420.
Note: League's Elite Gear is different than the League's Gear that you can buy from a vendor near the entrance to Port Nyanzaru! League's Elite Gear is slightly better than League's Gear in every stat and bonus.

League's Elite Gear is bind on equip.
NOTE: You do not have to have a matching class set for your character!! You only need the 4 types, for any class! (thanks DeathGuard 123!) Also NOTE, some classes pieces don't trigger properly, see comments for more info.
Note: You only need the Head, Chest, Arms, and Feet. The Rings aren't required for the achievement.
Note: You do not need to equip to get the achievement! Just have in your inventory.

You can get League's Elite Gear by:
1. Buying it off the Auction House(put "Elite" in the equipment search bar, and buy any combination of head/chest/arms/feet)
(very limited supply currently, but it should become much more common and cheaper soon as more people buy the recipes and craft it!)
2. Crafting it with new professions recipes
(You can buy recipes for each profession for 2000 Chultan Riches from the Recipe Keeper at (43, 371) on the Port Nyanzaru map. Chultan Riches drop from almost anything you do in Chult! HE's, fishing, Quests, and other miscellaneous stuff.)

The League's gear has a good mix of stats toward the general stats each class generally goes for: my GWF's gear focuses on Crit, Power, and Arm Pen. My DC's gear focuses on Crit, Recovery, Arm Pen, etc.

League's Gear has a mix of bonuses related to taking damage and missing HP, which then grants a variety of buffs for a short time.

Helm: If you take damage of more than 10% of your Max HP in a single blow, you gain 5% Defense for 10 seconds.
Chest: Gain 15 Defense for each percent of HP you are missing.
Arms: Gain 15 Power for each percent of HP you are missing.
Feet: If you take damage of more than 10% of your max HP in a single blow, your Movement Run Speed increases by 5% for 10 seconds.

The 4 different League's rings all are item level 430, double-slotted, but no double defense or offense slots. And no Crit/Power combo, just Crit/Arm Pen, Crit/Rec, Power/Rec, and HP/Defl.

League's Elite Assault Ring: Crit/Arm Pen: Gain 10 Arm Pen for each percent of HP you are missing.
League's Elite Raid Ring: Crit/Rec: Gain 10 Crit for each percent of HP you are missing.
League's Elite Restoration Ring: Power/Rec: Gain 10 Rec for each percent of HP you are missing.
League's Elite Ward Ring: HP/Defl: Gain 10 Defl for each percent of HP you are missing.

you only need to obtain the armor, head, arms, and legs for the achievement. If you want to craft it, it is the rank 3 in the crafting option so be prepared for that.

Oh yes, sorry, I just included the Rings for the details. :-) I'll add that.

Do you have to equip them or can you just buy them and resell on the auction house?

@ DeathGuard 123, I'll include that detail too, I didn't realize that was unclear, sorry!

Can you add more clarification as to how one would do this through professions?

Buy the recipes for the armor type of your class. DC and GWF use mailsmithing. You would also need leatherworking and something else to make the materials, but it's all pretty cheap on the auction house.

Fuzz has some good points, there are some more things though--you need some of the other professions to get the right ingredients. I'm still working on adding those details as I can't get all the recipes yet... they cost so much. *cry*

fish for treasures. there is a spot that gives you two fish per lure. the spot is on the left side if you are going towards camp vengeance.. it is between the two sand beaches near the end

There is also a double fishing spot underneath the first bridge to the right if you're going towards camp vengeance. However, I fished nearly fifty times and never got a single non-fish catch!

FYI I bought a combination of pieces from 2 different classes that were not the class I was playing (just bought the cheapest ones) and unlocked the achievement after getting them from a mailbox. And resold them within 15 minutes for the same price (120k AD a piece)

For the fish, you turn those in at the port for treasures. You don't catch the treasures. Fish trade for 2-15 each I think with 15 being purple.

I did catch a rex fang and a few other trophies in one sitting and the next time I went fishing it was all level 1 crap.

Ahh, I was referring to the trophies and equipment treasures you can catch while fishing. Yes, the Chultan Riches get turned in at the fish vendor over there. A rough estimate is fish for 30 hours to get enough Riches for all the recipes!

It also took me over 100 fish atttempts to get my first non-fish catch. I've now gotten 3 total I think.

That is an excellent question. You might be the one to find that out because no-one I know of has tried that yet! Can you try it with one 'cheap' piece?

Will do at weekend.

It *should* pop as long as you've had the relevant piece at some point, as the in-game achievement requires 1 of each piece and the sub-achievement requirements each trigger on pickup.

So I bought one of each(mixed classes) and it did not pop. I even tried putting them in the bank and pulling them out again to see if it would re-register. Still nothing. Anyone have this issue?

I'd suggest checking your in-game achievements to see which one(s) you're missing.

Oh yeah forgot about that. I ended up buying all but the boots for my class. So if the boots are missing, we will know the answer to that

The good thing about Neverwinter achievements is that the in-game achievements are usually what triggers the Xbox achievement. Can't track through the Xbox tracker but the in-game one is spot-on.

That's weird, and annoying. Resell the GF arms and get a different class arms? I have no idea why that didn't work.

Same for me. Bought arms for paladin and it didn’t work then bought for archer and then worked perfectly.

Same, bought Ranger arms (Bazubands) and did not register, then bought Rouge (Qafaz) and it did

Bazubands also did not register for my Ranger after claiming them from auction email, even though I acquired the other 3 pieces same way without issue. I deposited them to my bank and immediately withdrew, then they registered -> achievement unlocked.

While I still have the recipes for the equipment, the recipes for the materials seems to be gone since the latest crafting update. This achievement may no longer be possible without purchasing them gear from AH now.

Just search the auction house for "Elite" in the search bar. That'll bring up all the Elite armor currently on sale. I'm assuming that's what you're looking for? It's how I found it myself. dance Then you just need to buy a head, chest, arms and feet piece. I don't want to list all of them because they all have different names, but you can tell by looking at the items which part it is for. Or, you can customize the search parameters to the head/chest/arms/feet category as well. Does this help?

This is probably the easiest armor set you can acquire; you are not required to equip it! You just need to have the set in your inventory, the rings or accessories are not necessary. You can go about this in three different ways.

Please Note: Do not mistake the League Equipment Dealer next to the Port Nyanzaru bank for selling this equipment. She does not sell the "elite" version of this gear.

  1. You can search "Elite" under equipment in the Tarmalune Trade House and look for pieces other players are selling. You can buy any combination of a set, as long as it's head, arms, chest, and boots.
  2. You can craft your own by visiting the Recipe Keeper in Port Nyanzaru and buying a recipe book. These will cost you 2000 Chultan Riches each and then whatever it costs to craft it. You can then save, or sell the set.
  3. Simply borrow a set from a friend that already has it.
