Above your minimap, you will see a Sun or a Moon, indicating whether it is daytime or nighttime within Barovia.
While it is nighttime, there is a chance that a miniboss creature called the Night Terror will spawn randomly around the map. When you are near it, you will see a healthbar pop up at the top middle of your screen with the name Night Terror. You need to do a reasonable amount of damage to the Night Terror to get credit towards defeating it. This miniboss is only available at night.

Not entirely sure on the exact damage needed but the first time I saw him, I got there and he was on about half health. I did a fair bit before they died but no cheev. Got to get there quick. :D

I did it three times where I got there and did a couple bars and nothing. Only time it popped was when I was there from near the beginning of the fight.

Got it. Was there instantly as he spawned and dragged me off my mount. I only managed to do about 1 bar of damage before people piled in and annihilated him.

What a horrible achievement. I was there start to finish 3 times but hey, Clerics aren't DPS so they don't need achievements, do they Cryptic?
I personally did over 2 bars of damage on at least 2 of the 3 times I had the encounter - no pop. This is typical unfortunately - support classes get no support.
I had it pop twice while I was on the Restless Dead Heroic found at (2458, 763)

Well each class has a DPS path, DCs have Divine Oracle(I run one and have no problems getting through chult/omu) Paladin's have Justice and GFs have conqueror.

A note - I'm DO (14,500 IL) and when I solo, I run pure DPS. Still, Clerics aren't DPS.

Then its glitched there was two us I died once but when i got back his health dropped it taken us over 30mins to kill him.
Apart from achievement do you get a heroic award aswell

The Night Terror disappears as soon as daytime starts btw, so that might be why it disappeared? Then it won't count unfortunately.

We killed it when it was night i know that for a fact i had quest to collect mushrooms that are only out at night and there was a few out when he died

Ah, then it probably was a glitchy one? I don't remember for sure if there was a Heroic achievement, but I'm pretty sure there is.

You could try looking in your Journal for the 'achievement'? Next time I'm in the game I'll look for it and see if I can find it--it's probably in one of the last 3 lists in the journal though.

I feel for you.. I have a 16 DC, a 16 CW, and a 17 GWF... but I started with the DC and it was painful to do stuff, that I finally made a GWF.
