How to unlock the The Clockwork Guild Tomb achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

The Clockwork Guild Tomb is the last quest you need to complete in the Neverdeath Graveyard zone.

You receive this questline once you complete the last mission in the Blackdagger Ruins zone (and then speak with Sergent Knox).

There are a number of quests you need to complete in the Neverdeath Graveyard before this mission (i.e. The Clockwork Guild Tomb) becomes available:

I know: "There are a number of quests you need to complete in the Neverdeath Graveyard before this mission becomes available:" This Mission is a reference to the one above, but I will change the wording so it is a bit more clear.

Hmmm well nothing seemed to work so i droped it facepalm and tried to pick it up again. Niether sargent knox or tristipher chattlbox or whatever his name is gave me the quest again. So i guess this will have to wait till my second play thru. I guess all i can really say is do quests you pick up right away and dont drop them once you have themsmile.

I had to finish Harper Windle's quests before Tristopher Chettlebell would give me the Clockwork Guild Tower quest.

@WJS Osiris
I actually completed the quest before I was supposed too by joining some randoms that invited me into a group. I was only a level 30 at the time and they were 34s. If you can find someone at that map location that is on or near that quest line hopefully they will accept a party request.

A Doomguide's Duty
The Emissary of the Dead
Wearers of Purple

These 3 aren't needed for the achievement.

this one is missable - I went back at lv 40 to try to pick up on this quest line and nothing is available from any NPC in that zone - cleared all of Harper's dragon quests too - nothing showed up

Same as NicholiGinavaef I can't progress this, Filial Villainy was the last one I did and nothing there to continue the quests. I was playing zone by zone though so it simply didn't progress for me so I moved on to HelmHold. Surely it's not level dependent ? I was in the mid 30's at the time with the double xp event.

Ok I had to do a doomguides duty, then Tristopher Chettlebell gave me Dragon Attack which is weird seeign as I had already done Filial Villainy. Also to get some of the quests I had to talk to Doomguide Orran behind Volahk and do a whole series of quests to get to Doomguides Duty, only then did Chettlebell start talking and offering quests, Orran wasn't showing on the map as having quests nor did he have the ! above him to indicate he had some, I talked to him purely by chance and saw he had quests.

I'll report back if this progress things for the achievement.

Ok I had to do some of the ones crossed out in the guide to get History lessons to show up, it appeared after "enter the dragons" was handed in to the harper lady beside him.

Can i just add to this if i may. The quest is 100% not missable, i just got it at level 60. I checked the list and i had done all quests except for "opening the way" that little shit tristopher chettlebell is on the left of harper windle in the starting area of neverdeath graveyard. He had no marker above his head letting me know he had quests available, i chose to talk to him then he offered me the quest.

Had to deal with tristopher not giving quests, your list was very helpful in working out what was next

May not hurt to add the names of the quest givers as this is a bit buggy but +1 from me

After reading the comments here I went back to chettlebell and sure enough he had the quest waiting for me but it wasn't signalled above his head - I'm lvl60 and it gave me it as lvl30 with lvl30 enemies. Took me about 10 mins to run through and achievo popped clap

Seems that People with quests don't always have a marker over them. After some comments above I went round the camp speaking to everyone I could and found that Doomguide Orran (on the raised bit over the camp overlooking a chasm) had "Red Rituals" that I'd not seen. Will update on my progress.

On completing "Red Rituals" Chettlebell started handing out further quests - still no exclamation mark over their heads though so watch out for that.

it's because your lvl 60 that's why the quest icon is NOT appearing over the NPC...only repeat icon will appear over the NPC

@ PAULINE: So basically, there is a glitch in the game that does not always make the available quest indicator appear on the quest giver?

By a Fi1thy Casual on 28 Apr 2015 21:51
it seems to be the case and its more than just one quest giver. this zone must be glitched. At level 60, I just picked up the Mercenary Nature quest from Captain Zimmer and she had no 'quest available' marker. I'm happy I can continue on now - thanks for the help with this.

@ Osiris: I am not sure - are you the host of the game? Are you forcing the quest path?

I found that, when playing with friends, if they were a few quests behind me, I wouldn't be able to access my current quests unless I logged out and back - I am not certain if the game failed to recognize my standing as opposed to the host, but logging back in fixed it for me.

I also found that if I played a few quests BEYOND where I was with friends, it would act like the quest was no longer available for me. I thought I lost the Fist of the Warband achievement because I did a few for this questline before getting that done, however all I needed to do was find the quest-giver again and basically restart the quest.

Let me know if either works, and I will update the guide.

Story related and can’t be missed! This quest will eventually be given by Tristopher Chettlebell in the Neverdeath Graveyard.

**Side Note** You can kill two of the enemies needed for the “Bump in the Night” achievement within the Clockwork Tomb; they are the Gelatinous Cube and the Mimic (if you haven't killed a Mimic already).

Here is the quest progression:

You should be near or at level 30 when you complete this quest line earning you the "Paragon Hero" achievement.
