How to unlock the The Primal One achievement in Neverwinter - Definitive Guide

Update: Thanks to Killersquirelz, there is no actual cap on the seals currently, and the seals also drop from the newer Trial, Trials of the Death God.

Primal Gear is the newest high item level gear at 500 item level per piece!(as of November 2017)
Primal Gear is bind on pickup to account.
Note: You only need the Head, Chest, Arms, and Feet. The Rings aren't required for the achievement.
Note: You do NOT need to buy a set that matches your class! I just bought all 4 pieces for a different class and got the achievement. And, you should definitely be able to mix classes as well as long as you get each unique armor piece(head, chest, arms, legs).

You get Primal Gear by trading in Seals of the Brave to the Seals of the Brave vendor just into Port Nyanzaru.

Seals of the Brave only drop from the Tomb of the Nine Gods dungeon. There's a weekly cap limit of 400, and maximum storage of 1200, similar to other currencies like Ichor, etc.
The current drop rates are 10 Seals each from the 3 bosses, then 20 each from the two chests at the end. A total of 70 Seals max per run, so you need to do ~26 runs total.

The Chest piece costs 600 Seals of the Brave.
The other 3 pieces are 400 Seals of the Brave each.

The Primal gear has a good mix of stats toward the general stats each class generally goes for: my GWF's gear focuses on Crit, Power, and Arm Pen. My DC's gear focuses on Crit, Recovery, Arm Pen, etc.
Primal Gear has a mix of bonuses related to doing high damage or killing enemies, which then grants a variety of buffs for a short time.

Helm: When you damage or heal your target for more than 15% of your Max HP in a single blow, you gain 1% of your HP back.
Chest: When you damage or heal your target for more than 15% of your Max HP in a single blow, you gain 1% Def for 10 seconds. (Max stack 5)
Arms: When you damage or heal your target for more than 15% of your Max HP in a single blow, you gain 1% Power for 10 seconds. (Max stack 5)
Feet: When you kill an enemy, you gain 3% Action Points.

In addition, the 4 different Primal rings all are item level 500, double-slotted, but no double defense or offense slots. And no Crit/Power combo, just Crit/Arm Pen, Crit/Rec, Power/Rec, and HP/Defl.

Primal Assault Ring: Crit/Arm Pen: When you kill an enemy, your Power increases by 1% for 10 seconds.
Primal Raid Ring: Crit/Rec: When you kill an enemy, your Power increases by 1% for 10 seconds.
Primal Restoration Ring: Power/Rec: When you kill an enemy, your Power increases by 1% for 10 seconds.
Primal WardRing: HP/Defl: When you kill an enemy, your Power increases by 1% for 10 seconds.

There is a half off seals items on the calendar in about a month. I'd say go up the middle path in the campaign to get the seals and get as much half off as you can.

I'm curious about the fastest way to get seals. Would doing the first boss and restarting be faster/cheaper than doing the whole thing and using keys?

I would love to know, unfortunately, I don't have TONG unlocked on any of my toons yet. :( Next week for two of them, then I'll know from personal experience.
About that double seals... I'm also planning to take advantage of the double Tyranny currency coming up and trade in coffers to finish off my 3 toons through Tyranny of Dragons. :-D

Dungeon takes 30-45 minutes if you can find a group. Chult key costs 25 totems so i think ill just buy dragon keys to max out seals.

Rumor has it that a bug causes seals to not be capped yet. I have 130 after two runs but plan to find out soon.

First boss takes a bit to get to, so it's smart to finish the dungeon for the most seals.

3 runs and 3 of the 4 picked up. It also seems you get 10 for the final boss now too so it's 70 a run. I got 60 the first time and 70 the two times after that.

So, 6 runs should get your weekly cap, but a bug seems to let you go past the cap. I am at 470 now. One person claims 836 is the cap.

Is the cap account wide? If not you can just buy a piece on each toon that has access to seals for the class you want no?

Per character, which means that's a good idea if the temporary no cap gets fixed soon.

Can be the pieces mixed?

E.g. 2 raid and 2 assault.

P.S: Ty.

Yes they can be mixed. And I actually bought all the pieces for my TR with my OP and got the achievement right when I bought the last piece with my OP. So it doesn't even need to be your own class.

Today, it can be obtained through Crown Seals in the central market of "Protector´s Enclave". These Seals can be obtained from the "Heroic Encounters" in "Well of Dragoons".

There's a Community Manager on the game's official forums who helped get Doer of Deeds and Great Deeds fixed - was willing to openly admit that achievements being unobtainable isn't acceptable, said they'd advocate for a fix. 3 months later there was a fix.

Might be worth getting a big thread going and rallying people to post on it.

Yes, every other set allows mixing, in fact, even allows pieces that don't match classes to work. So yes, mixing raid/assault works. The achievement triggers are very generous for these armor sets!

Currently there's no actual cap, and you can just keep earning seals. I'm not sure if they'll ever fix it. I've grinded out a lot of T9's for the double refinement and got two pieces in a week. You might also want to add that you can get Seals from CoDG too.

@TiestoEdit You find the primal armor set when you click start on your controller then go to the tab where you can find campaign. Once you have the list of all campaign popping up scroll down to Jungle of Chults and click A on it and then it will give you the option to click X to open store and from there you can scroll down a bit and you will see the primal parts that you need to buy (Helm, Gloves, Armor and Boots). As long as you have 10K chult currency you can have a full set and the achievement will unlock. I got the achievement for the Pilgrim armor doing it like this :)

This set can be purchased from the 'Seal of the Brave Trader' in Port Nyanzaru. You can earn Seals of the Brave by completing the Tomb of the Nine Gods dungeon (which is unlocked by completing the middle tree of the campaign). The chest piece is cost 600 seals and the subsequent pieces will cost 400 seals each. You are not required to purchase the accessories.

Unfortunately, there is a weekly cap of seals at 400, and a maximum cap of 1200. So this will take 5 weeks to complete as well as 25+ runs of ToNG to earn said seals.
