Price for the lure was 10 million AD early on, now it's extremely cheap, perhaps 1 Coalescent Ward from what I've seen in chat.
You can just buy the T3 hunt lure, OR make it yourself by killing the enemies as detailed below. Up to you, it's way easier now!
The only 3-Star hunt is the King of Spines Hunt, which is not the same as the King of Spines HE.
This map shows where to find the hunts(where to put the lures to start the hunts):
To craft the 3-Star hunt lure yourself, you need to do quite a few things:
You will first have to make 1-Star hunt lures, kill those bosses for the 2-Star hunt lures, then use the 2-Star trophies to make a 3-Star hunt lure!
How to make the Lures for the different Hunts:
There are 7 different enemy types in Chult that can drop the trophies needed for the 1-Star lures.
The rare enemies that can drop the Level 1 lure trophies are these:
(you have to kill the common mobs to get a chance for the rare mob to spawn)
Smilodon: Smilodon's Tooth (common mobs are Chultan Tigers)
Rotting Ogre: Rotting Ogre’s Femur (common mobs are undead)
Batiri Brave: Batiri Brave’s Trinket (common mobs are Batiri)
Eotyrannus: Eotyrannus Talon (common mobs are Deinonychus)
Bigclaw: Bigclaw’s Pincer (common mobs are Crabs)
Venomtail: Venomtail Poison (common mobs are Scorpions)
Tyrannosaurus Rex: Tyrannosaurus Fang (common mob is the regular Tyrannosaur)
These enemies are not involved with the lures at all:
Allosaurs, Bears, Compys, Lions, Tarantulas, Thayans, and Velociraptors.
Here are the mob spawn locations:
To make the 1-Star lures:
All the vendors to get the lures from are just to the right of the entrance into Port Vyanzaru.
Arachne Hunt: Smilodon Tooth and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Desha who will give you the Embroidered Cloak lure.
Clawgraze Hunt: Batiri's Brave Trinket and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Ragash who will give you the Batiri War Mask lure.
Fang of Dendar Hunt: Eotyrannus Talon and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Ragash who will give you the Bottled Terror lure.
Hedetet Hunt: Flask of Venomtail and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Doriak who will give you the Flask of Sulfur lure.
Karkinos Hunt: Big Claw Pincer and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Doriak who will give you the Sailors Shroud lure.
Spli-Ti Hunt: Rotting Ogre Femur and T-Rex Fang. Talk to Aryn who will give you the Preserved Heart lure.
Once you have the 1-Star lures, you can now work on getting the 2-Star trophies.
Once you have the 2-Star trophies, you can get the 2-Star lures.
Baccho Hunt: Arachne's Spinneret and Hedetet's Searing Core. Talk to Desha who will give you the Jewel Studded Collar lure.
Sirrish Hunt: Clawgraze's Saddle and Karkinos Carapace Fragment. Talk to Agnar who will give you the Eotyrannus Horn lure.
Thazar-De/Zulkir Hunt: Fang of Dendar's Staff and Spli-Ti's Rotten Rib. Talk to Aryn who will give you the Ensorcelled Lure lure.
Complete your 2-Star hunts! They will be quite difficult to solo for anyone who is not near max. Make sure to bring a group along on the hunt!
Once you've completed your 2-Star hunts and gotten the 3 trophies, you can now make your 3-Star lure!
King of Spines Hunt: Baccho's Giant Claw, Sirrish's Bloody Incisor, and Thazar-De Enchanted Amulet. Talk to Agnar who will give you the Tribal Yklwa lure.

Yours is unlocked on your xbox profile don't worry, mine isn't however, I've sent arc games an email I'm down millions of AD because of this, as well as money and the fucking boss didn't even drop loot or anything. Absolute garbage.

there are 2 ways to unlock this achievement: #1, join some one that has the king of spines hunt lure, then go with them to fight and kill that boss. (this did not work for some of my friends). #2, farm/trade/buy the 3star lure and make sure you are the one to summon the boss.

You must complete the third campaign task in the left tree to unlock the 3 star hunt which requires another 150 Forgotten Totems. You should be doing this event with a group. Even though one person is putting down the lure, all people in the group will get the achievement.
- King of Spines: Not to be confused with the Heroic Event that spawns in the center of the zone. Requires Thazar-De's Enchanted Amulet, Bachho's Giant Claw, and Sirrush's Bloody Incisor to make Tribal Yklwa.
