Glitch status update 11-7-19 Still Glitchy! Cryptic don't know how to fix their achievements, you apparently have to redo this on a different toon that has NO progress, and even worse it's still not guaranteed!
Glitch update--this should now be fixed as of about 10/25/19.(You will have to redo the requirements though)
The way this is supposed to be obtained is by doing this:
Recon missions of both Githyanki and Illithid.
Every 2 Recon missions from each faction unlocks a warden mission for that faction.
Each warden mission gives a piece of a rod.
Once you have 3 pieces of a faction's rod, you can do the factions Fragment Expedition.
You have to do both factions Fragment Expeditions twice to get the halves of Zerthimon.
Note: You can't hold multiple warden quests open, but you CAN complete as many recon missions as you want, the unaccepted warden missions will stack and be acceptable as soon as you finish one. Big thanks to multiple people in the comments for helping clarify that!

I'm not buying that people are unlocking it the normal way. Maybe it is glitched and doing a specific unrelated task pops it. I asked one guy and he said you have to run both FEs with 3 runes, but that is a different achievement so I dunno if he was just being a jerk and not explaining what he did to pop it or if he is honestly clueless.

I know a couple of people unlocked it before they should have, 12 days is the length it takes to get the achievement and i seen a couple with the achievement alot earlier than that.

U have to to TWO FEs of each to get that half of the teachings AFAIK. So now that it is fixed four more FEs (two of each) sjould get it. Runes never had anything to do with this achievement. Only the other one.

I can confirm what Yoda said. I did my other 2 fragment expeditions today and no achievement. It looks you'll need to complete the original quest on another character to unlock the achievement. What a joke! I don't have another lvl 80 character. I'm about finished with this game and it's developer.

Actually Fuzz, the dungeon gearing up is incredibly easy with companion equipment being so transferable now, the only things that are a problem are the weapon set and artifacts pretty much.

Nice! Yeah I read somewhere that I could do all the expeditions technically in one day if I wanted as long as I did enough recon missions. And for the fact that neverwinter sucks now, I was okay with just doing daily recon missions and saving all the expeditions for a rainy day.

How hard would it have been to add code that checks if tou have unlocked TOMM and pop the achievement if you have. I have 3 lvl 80s but REALLY dont want to transfer all my gear (other two toons are stripped) just to do this fucking campaign again. God I wish a power surge would fry arc's servers and all backups before the next mod and rid us once and for all of thus filthy game.

Their servers are not already fried? I can't hardly do daily quests without rubberbanding off a cliff some days.
As for having 2 70 toons. No boons and don't know how to play the other class. I just spammed skills on the TR until I was 70 and not touched it in a very long time. Mostly I just don't want to waste more time than I need to in the game. I have a lot I want to play without these service games being impossible to keep completed.

Seems the "fix" really didn't properly fix this achievement for people who had previous progress on it. I have one character that now has three of each teaching half and zero progress recorded for it in the in-game journal.
Here a while back I started another capable character that did not have prior Stardock progress. Two FE's down, two more to go I think.

Banzai this was already known. You need to do it on a toon that HASNT done the FEs yet. Ive done both FEs like six times on my pally just bc I was getting them out of the way to keep doing recon quests once the 50 recon mssions achievement was fixed. I stopped when I realized I would have to do 24 recons my TR anyway while going for this one.
The only fix is to do it on a different toon. I just wodh it was confirmed that this is Guaranteed to pop if you start fresh on a new toon after the fix. No way I wanna do this on a 3rd damn toon.

LifeExpectancy, I didn't see the 'new character required' info posted, so it was a new revelation to me. If it was posted or spelled out in this thread that we needed a no prior progress character to get this, I flat out missed it. No worries though, I got the achievement to finally pop today on the character that had no quest progress prior to the "fix". Guess I'd have started running that character sooner if I'd known...

I ran 3 toons through prior to the patch and 1 toon after the patch. The 1 toon after the patch had no Stardock progress on it until after the patch.

Jesus that sucks. I got it to pop on my 2nd toon, which had no stardock progress (or undermountain for that matter). Had to do the entire undermountain campaign and get to 80 before I could even start stardock on it.
When I finished the 3rd and 4th FE today the in-game achievement and title popped up but the Xbox one didnt. I was pissed and just sat there in disbelief. Thankfully after staring at my toon for 4-5 minutes, the achievement popped.

Wow... I just got my CW to level 80 last night, almost through the first Undermountain campaign so I can start working through this. My Barbarian is working towards the 50 Recon missions, hopefully that doesn't glitch too!

Yes did it on another toon you need to have a toon who hasnt started it at ALL run it through and when you done the 2nd set of the cycle it will pop.

Hey guys I am seeing you needed to do it on a different toon. Is that only if you had done an FE already? I have strictly done all recon missions, and two warden expeditions. Do you think I will have to do this achievement on another toon too?

BTW, keep in mind that doing the Expeditions yields an additional valuable reward, the runes(1 from each Expedition) that you can trade in in the Yawning Portal map to a guy under the stairs, very quick source of AD.

You have the achievement for multiple high level toons but can't have multiple level 80s? LOL.
It takes only a few hours to run the whole Undermountain campaign and level from 70 to 80. Especially with guild EXP boon and EXP enchants...
I have one of each class and they're all level 80. It only takes a few days to level from 1 to 80 just playing casually with EXP bonuses... The game literally gives you all the gear for free when you level up...

Lol I was wrong. My TR and Cleric were stripped and mothballed at level 70. I transferred over all my enchants and runestones from my pally to my TR and had to do the entire undermountain campaign just so I could START the stardock one and start working toward this POS achievement. Gonna have to seriously consider skipping the next mod and staying one mod behind from now on to ensure that any achievement issues are fixed BEFORE I do them on my primary toon.
Not even gonna bother trying to form a zero deaths TOMM group anytime soon. I havent even run it once yet and am in no hurry since the TLO alliance is in ruins more or less.
Why wont neverwinter just die lol.

I don't think that's how it works from my experimentation--I tried that at first, and progress just wasn't going forwards once I turned in more than two Recon missions. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, and I would LOVE to know if I'm wrong on this, but I thought you can only get two Recon Missions turned in at a time before doing the next Warden mission otherwise it was just completing them without giving the possibility of stacking additional future extra Warden Missions. Anyone have input on this?

So still won't unlock if you've done it once pre-patch. Did this a second time on my main - got lots of fragments in my bags but no achievements....
Not enjoying grinding a new player through Undermountain again. Didn't like it the 1st time on a character that was actually in decent gear... doing it with the poorly geared alt is a great lesson... don't do new content until its fixed!
Just to add to Shadow's recent comment about getting Runes from the Expeditions... that's only if you use runes on them to begin with. Really not worth the time it takes to clear the dungeon IMO for a chance at 5,500 rough AD or another of the same cosmetic companion. Do a skirmish instead lol.

Yes WEs and FEs stack. As soon as you turn one in, the next one shows up right away. I've had that happen a lot doing the 50 investigations over again, :/

Please go to the Neverwinter forums/other info places and raise a stink about this--we got the Chult ring achievements changed in part due to the fuss that was raised--so it can work!

Just did my 2nd run through and it unlocked as expected.
That being, I leveled a mothballed alt from 70 to 80 and did the previous campaign to the point where I could run MEs. At that point, you can start the new campaign. I then ran the whole thing again. Yay!. After finishing the last FEs, pop!

Just logged in (9/12/20) after the latest patch on a character that I did this on when it was bugged and the in game achievement popped for me. Looks like they've managed to retroactively fix that one, so could mean that people will get their achievement as well.
