Nex Machina

This trophy unlocks after defeating the fifth boss in arcade mode, The Architect, on any difficulty. For a more detailed guide to this world, please see below.

Future Labs is the fifth world in Nex Machine. As the name suggests, it is set within a Futuristic lab enviroment. There are 13 levels to be completed within the Fire Caverns.

While venturing through Future Labs you'll be introduced to the following enemies:

• Mimics – These enemies look like boxes. Once you start walking towards them they will stand up and try to run at you. Basically the “crawler” variant of Future Labs.
• Mimic Primes – Larger variant of the Mimic. Upon killing these they will shoot a projectile in four directions. (N, E, S, W)
• Oculuses – Floating eyeballs that will close in on your hero from the edges of the screen. Usually come in large groups. Very easy to kill using your primary weapon.
• Penetrators – Probably the hardest normal enemy in the game. You’ll hear these enemies charge up their attack. Once charged they’ll shoot their arm at you revealing a black/purple laser between the Penetrator and wherever the arm was shot at. Unlike any other lasers/bullets this laser cannot be dashed through. I highly suggest prioritizing these enemies.
