How to unlock the Double Down achievement in NFL Blitz - Definitive Guide
A double pass is if you pass it to a WR/RB before the line of scrimmage and then pass it again after you pass it the first time. Must score a touch down on the play. Easiest play i found to do it on is Crosses on the second page in the red zone.

just wanted to add that if your rb/wr passes it back to the qb and HE throws the touchdown (a tripple pass essentially) it doesnt count. the TD must be thrown by RB/WR

Thank you for the solution, it’s a bit hard to understand if you don’t know the game well but it was good enough for me

This is a very simple achievement, and probably one of the first you will get. To earn this, select a play on offense where a receiver stays behind the line of scrimmage (for example, “Criss Cross”). Pass the ball to this player. Once he has the ball, pass it to another receiver and score a touchdown. This is easiest done when you are close to the end zone.
It has been suggested that the achievement will not unlock unless the first player you throw to is not only behind the line of scrimmage, but also behind the quarterback. Do this to be safe, as it is not difficult to accomplish.
Refer to this video for further assistance:
A double pass means you simply throw the ball to a player who is remaining behind the line of scrimmage, then using that player, you throw it to another player downfield. This must be done for a touchdown.
So simply drive on downfield, to about the 10 or 20 yardline, then choose a play that has a receiver stay back. Plays such as Turmoil or Split Backs will be perfect here. Simply hike the ball, pass it back to the receiver who stayed behind, then pass it to another receiver in the endzone. If its incomplete, just try again on the next down.
This can be done in any gameplay mode.
