How to unlock the Local Celebrity achievement in NFL Blitz - Definitive Guide

You reach elite battle boards by playing Head to Head Blitz Battles. You first choose the state that you want to compete in. After that try to rank up enough points to get promoted to higher boards. The first is Rookie, Second is Veteran, And the third is Elite. I got to Elite after 4 wins. The number of wins may vary depending on how many other players are competing in your same state. But that is not confirmed.

UPDATE: It looks like the promotions are factored from points and not wins. I do apologize I didn't track how many points I had when I got this promotion.

Feel free to disregard this but im pretty sure rankings go by total points and has nothing to do with win/loss or what state youre in. I just hit 60,000-65,000 points and im a Southeast Veteran in co op.

The rankings do go by points, but you lose points if you lose a match. You can even end up ranking down if you lose 3 in a row.(i was drinking) State doesn't matter since each battleboard only consists of 25 people. Although maybe Rhode Island or something might give you a little advantage.

I think you skipped a board somehow. There's a Pro board between rookie and veteran.

Also to other peeps out there, If you're an average player...It might take a little while..I finally got it at 8W/7L

The points system is similar to that of the chess ranking system. Example:

If I have a high rank and you have a low rank and I win, I get a lesser amount of points because I'm expected to win that game. If you win in that same scenario then you will be rewarded greatly because you were the underdog.
