Just finish the 82 regular season games, achievement will unlock when you start the next year so you must finish the playoff to unlock it.

This achievement can be completed by simulating the entire season. Don't worry about playing games during the year, unless you are trying to win the various achievements that can be stacked on the first season, like winning the Stanley Cup and having your team get more than 100 points.

The fastest way to get this achievement is by simulating. You do not have to win the cup to get this achievement, just simply finish a season to receive it.
