Set the game to superstar mode and short periods, 1 or 2 minutes would do perfectly. Set all of your team sliders to 100 and the opponents' sliders to 0.

Just don't take any chances. If you get a powerplay, try to score to keep it from going to a shootout. As long as they don't score you're golden.

Set your sliders to 100 and the opposing teams to 0. For your team, select the Detroit Red Wings (because if you choose Pittsburgh, you're no better than a common idiot.) And for the opposing team, select Denmark. Now, plug in a 2nd controller and set this to Denmark. At the beginning of each faceoff, pause P2's controller and pull goalie. Now you have an empty net to score on! my final score was Red Wings 31; Denmark 0.

This is a simple way to get not only this achievement, but also







1. Start a Play Now game on Superstar difficulty. Teams and settings do not matter, just keep hitting cn_A till the match starts.

2. Once match starts, PAUSE, select 'Pull Home Team Goalie' (or Away if you started as Away team)

3. Let the other team score.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 till someone on the other team scores 3 goals for a Hat Trick.

5. Kill time in game till the last second in the 3rd period. Don't take any shots on goal, just skate around and keep the puck away from the other team as best as you can.

6. At the last second (or however close you want to get) PAUSE and go to 'Settings', 'Select Sides', switch your controller to the other team.

7. Unpause and finish game. Achievement gained.

The easiest method involves:

Set your team's sliders to 99 for 5 players and your goalie, and make sure you edit the line to include those 5 players. Then set the other team you are playing against sliders to 50 for 5 players and make those 5 players the opposing teams line... all of them.

Next you will want to SIM the game until the 3rd period, hoping that they don't score a goal for the first 2 periods. If they do, back out of that game and try again. If they don't score, INTERVENE and play the 3rd period. Now all you have to do is keep the puck away from their players, you can try to score, but the objective should be to keep it from them.

To make things easier, make sure the game is on 5 minute periods.
