How to unlock the He Shoots, He Scores achievement in NHL 08 - Definitive Guide

a really easy way to get the achievement is with two controllers. get the puck to your goalie, then pass the puck to the other team. now with your second controller, pull the other team's goalie and skate down to the net and have them score on themselves. since the last player to touch the puck on your team was the goalie, he gets the goal and you get the achievement.

You can't shoot on your net so you have to use pokecheck (RB) to push the puck forwards while skating towards your empty open net.

What I did to get the achievement was use the two controller method. Pull the other teams goalie then take a shot on your team and let the keeper freeze the puck. When the face-off is dropped in simply win it with the opposing team and skate towards your own goal and press RB + X just in side the blue line to tap it in

I also found it easier when your team has a skater in the penalty box, that way you won't have your players putting pressure on the other team as they're too concerned with defending the goal

Simplest way is to use the 2 controller method. What I did was using controller 1 (Profile going for this achievement) pass the puck to the goalie using lob pass (press the direction of the goalie on the left stick and tap RB using default controller settings) then pass (RT + Direction on left analog) toward an opposing player. Player 2 pulls his goalie (LB+ Back) while taking the puck back to his own goal. Press down towards the goal and press RB to lob pass it into the goal. AS LONG AS PLAYER 1's GOALIE WAS THE LAST TO TOUCH THE PUCK ON PLAYER 1's TEAM the goalie will get credit for the goal.

Now simply let the time run out in the game and enjoy this easy 25G. This may take a few tries but is so much easier than the above method.

Start a game on Superstar difficulty with any teams you want. Get the puck with your goalie, then pass it to the other team. Now with your second controller, pull the your goalie and skate the puck down the ice to your net. When you are directly in line with the net, tap the RB button to lob pass the puck into the net. Since the goalie from Controller 1's team was the last to touch the puck, it is a goal scored by the goalie, achievement unlocked!
