How to unlock the Shootout Mastery achievement in NHL 08 - Definitive Guide

Easiest way for this achievement is boosting with a friend, play out normal and over time, and then win the shoot out.

You should add a disclaimer or something to your solution that EA is scheduled to turn off the online servers for this game on Feb 8th 2011.

So anyone wanting this achievement needs to hurry up and get it!

This achievement can no longer be obtained due to the Recent Server closures of NHL 08. If you have yet to start this game, keep in mind the 1000 gamerscore is now out of reach.

Again play a quick ranked match and keep it tied through regulation, but this time keep it tied through overtime as well. Once it's in the shootout, just win. Having a friend helps too. Have him move out of the goal to let you score, then have him skate behind the goal line to end his shooting chance.

Note: This is now un-obtainable since the server for this game have been closed.
