How to unlock the Streaker achievement in NHL 09 - Definitive Guide

Play and win 5 ranked vs. games in a row (not OTP). This is easily done with a boosting partner. Send them a game invite through the lobby (or even create your own lobby), then quit after game reaches 5 minute mark (15 mins left in 1st period). Counts as a 3-0 win for person not quitting. Or, just play through and pull your goalie for easy goal if you don't want to affect your quit %.

Im so pissed I finally won 5 ranked in a row and it didn't unlock! In my stats page it even says my best win streak is 6! I am positive that they were all ranked

I think you have to play full games cause I played 6 ranked versus games and won through my opponent quitting after the 1st period and nothing happened! :S

You may have to complete the games since the update. This was written prior to that, and was the method I used, which worked.

Ok, I just helped another friend. You can play and quit the first 4, the 5th has to be played to the end. 8)

A fast way to get this without risking your streak is boost with a friend set up a ranked match with the dnf set all the way up & have your friend search for it, Barely anybody plays someone with the dnf all the way up.

Go to Xbox Live > Online Game Modes > Online Versus Play.

Select your preferred matchup, set it to RANKED and win 5 in a row. I recommend boosting this with a friend, as it obviously makes it much easier to get it.

NOTE: This achievement can be unlocked by quitting, although you have to wait 5 in-game minutes before quitting the game for it to count as a win.

The server for this game is now closed and this achievement is no longer obtainable.
