NHL 11

EDIT: Sadly this achievement is no longer obtainable. I helped a few people get this one, and FREEDOM will go down with the record of having the most penalty minutes in a season! I am choosing not to remove this as this is my legacy for NHL 11. The only reason I played this game was because my friend made the front cover, no other reason. It was the first time I had played an NHL game since NHL99 where Eric Lindross #88 took the front cover. (I do not know Lindross). Regardless this is what I made and this is where we are.

All you need to do is make the playoffs and play the game.
However...

PLEASE NOTE: THE PLAYOFFS ARE SINGLE ROUND KNOCKOUT.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU MAKE THE PLAYOFFS, YOUR NEXT GAME WILL DEFAULT TO THE PLAYOFFS.

With that being said, practice first. I tossed together a small team of people and we were practicing. One of us lost connection and did not return for the next couple. At that point we decided to play a game to see how we actually were against actual players. We all went to play game and without warning we were placed into a Playoff game. SO MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE THE GAME OPTIONS TO REGULAR GAME (Thank you tsunamishadow for pointing that out) We were destroyed. And at the end of the game the achievement popped up saying EASHL Playoffs, we were not expecting this and unfortunately our friend was not there to get this achievement.

So with that being said. Take warning.

Secondly, I am not to sure what math is performed to calculate the chance of getting into the playoffs, however my team played a total of one game before that. We lost.
We made the playoffs with a 0-1-0 record.
So it cant be that hard.

Tips to actually win your Playoff game:
Unfortunately for us we were paired with a brutal oposition. What you can do if you have the time is level up your player as much as possible. The other team flattened us each time they made a hit so leveling up would be highly recommended.

To level up simply play more games.
Example:
You start at Amateur, then you will move up to Rookie after 10 games and a performance average of C- or better. This will net you 500 Exp for each area of skill.
