As you win games you gain more points and your ranking goes higher. If you gain enough points you can be promoted up a league and if you lose enough you can be relegated down a league.
Regardless of where you finish, you will be entered into the playoffs (I have yet to see a team that hasn't been put in the playoffs, unless they have not won a game in that season). To play a playoff game, go to your EASHL team page and select "Playoffs". It will look like as if you are entering a normal game, but in the top left of the screen you should see now that the Game Type has changed from Regular, to Playoffs. Also when you get in a game there should me paint on the ice marking that this is a playoff game such as "Elite League Playoffs".
To win the trophy you need to win four playoff games in a row, but to win this achievement you will need to only win one. But remember the other team are also going for this achievement as well, it's not going to be easy! If you win it should pop at the end of the game when you see your grades. If you lose...well better luck next month!

So you only have one shot at winning the playoff game @the end of the month? Or if you lose a game, can you try again right away & keep playing playoff games until you win one?

Disconnects do not work if you are wondering. It will give you the win but not the achievement.

I did this with my brother yesterday with randomly joining a public club, which has at least one match played. If you found one and playoff is still open, tell your friend to join it too. And bam, you can play. The worst part is, you still need to win the match. But you have a lot of opportunities, if you lose, search for another club and do the same thing. Or you can easily boost this with 4-12 people. :D
Its bad for these people in the club, but its their fault, because its a public team.
