In Be A Pro mode, you start in a Canadian Hockey League team, which you play the final rounds of the Memorial Cup. Your agent and coach will tell you you need a certain amount of XP from your first few games. To hit that target you need to play to what you are supposed to be doing. Snipers should be scoring, Tough Guys should be making hits, Defensemen should have a high +/- and Goalies shouldn't be conceding too many.
After you've played a couple games, your agent will tell you what positions in the draft you are likely to be picked in. You need to make sure your lowest position is not lower than 30th, otherwise you need to start again. Keep playing through the memorial cup and eventually you'll get to the draft. if you played decently, you should be picked in the first round.

go to BAP and create your own player. now pick a jr. team and play 4 games with the final being the championship. while during this your agent will tell how well you are doing and what round and projected pick you are based how well youve been playing. i got picked #1 in the first round so it is easy
