First, the game must be on PRO difficulty. Putting sliders in your favor will help, but this achievement isn't necessarily difficult to attain on higher difficulties either.
Enter Be A Pro mode and make it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Once you're in the game, focus on goals rather than assists. Both count towards your point total, but goals are far easier to score.
I got this achievement with 5 minute periods, but I recommend 7 just to be on the safe side.

You have to wait till the regular season is over and you are in the playoffs. This can be done in any playoff game. Simply score 8 points. With adjusted sliders, stated in the road map, this is no problem. Points are Goals + Assists. Try to get at least 6 points through the first two periods to give yourself a reasonable chance at 8 points for the game. Trophy unlocks after 8 points have been earned.

Unlike a lot of the other Be A Pro achievements, this one must be done during the playoffs. Simply get 8 points during one game for the achievement.
