How to unlock the The Great One achievement in NHL 12 - Definitive Guide

Pretty simple to achieve, just takes a little time. Best to do this achievement while going for One Great Season (score 216 NHL points in 1 season). Adjust the sliders until it is easy to score for you and then just rip the goals in every game. Im up to 74 goals and 67assists in just 35 games.

I'm currently on 95 goals, having played 78 regular season games.

Does this pop at the end of the season?

Also, do you have to achieve the total in the regular season, or can you also use the play-offs?

Hmmm, you should have it by now unless maybe some of your goals were scored during simmed games? Did you score them all yourself? I know that simming affects some of these acheevs.

And it needs to be done regular season btw.

My friend got it after finishing the game in which he got his 93 goal, and it all has to be done in 1 regular season

I haven't gone for this achievement yet but for the guys that are saying theirs hasn't popped yet, could this be due to the fact you are playing either a CHL or AHL Be a Pro season and NOT a NHL Be a Pro season?

I have started on CHL and i'm thinking these cheevo's are specific to a NHL Be a Pro season...

Just a thought, anyone able to clarify this?

It opened for me in one season, I scored 158 goals, for some reason it opened on 92 goals
