When starting a new Live the Life (aka Be A Pro), select NHL Entry Draft and set the difficulty to Rookie with sliders in your favor. This mode will start you out in the Memorial Cup tournament. All you need to do now is score 2-3 goals in each of the 4 games and you should easily get drafted 1st overall. Your agent will update you on your progress during the tournament.

Was hoping someone would come up with a quick guide for this. Thanks.

I scored 3+ goals a game, won the memorial cup and was only drafted 18th. This seems a bit more tricky than years past. Will eventually figure it out though.

Really? I played as a center, won the cup and only scored 5 goals each in the final 2 games. I just simulated the first 2 and still managed to get it. I will go back and try to find a sure fire way to get it easily.

I played as a Center won the Cup, Simulated the first two periods and jumped in for the start of the 3rd each game. I proceeded to score 1 goal and earn an assist in most of the games. (Quitting out and letting the sim finish.)
In one of the games I only scored one goal before quitting. Was drafted first overall.

Scored 10 goals across the 4 games and got drafted 2nd. I think the interview questions you get asked may have something to do with it.

I think the new fighting system has something to do with it as well. If your character fights a lot that racks in the PIMS and could possibly lower the player's draft stock. Going to try again with a non-fighter and see if it works.

You remember those pre draft interviews, yeah well if you thought about why they are there it is because those teams want to see if you'll be a good fir for the team, answer the questions as if you were the GM looking at yourself

played an entire QMJHL season, had 50+ goals, 40+ assists, 100 Points, won the presidents cup, memorial cup, drafted 12th. makes no sense

I think that this solution must be updated because with 3+ goal and 2+ assist par game i've been drafted 3rd and not get the cheevo. I think that the interview is a central point to get the cheevo.

I am convinced that its all based on the questions your asked with some minor tie to your stats. I played all 4 games and had 1g 8a, but had two games where I scored 8 of my 9 points. We won the cup and I got drafted first. I answered all pre-draft questions with the "team/nice guy" answer. Just figured I'd share my experience.
