How to unlock the Chosen One achievement in NHL 15 - Definitive Guide

Easy achievement! In HUT just pick a player in the edit lines screen and apply the Captain consumable. This adds +2 to all their stats and is permanent until you another Captain card to another player. If you haven't pulled the Captain card out of a pack then check the auction house, they usually go for 200-500 pucks BIN.

Assigning an alternate captain (+1 to all stats) does not work for the achievement though, must be the Assign Captain +2.

To find it in Auction House go to Item Type = Training and Type = Captaincy. :)

What packs would you find a captain card in? Gold-Silver or Bronze.

I know I'm late to the party, but it seems the Change team and the Captain cards are only found in Gold Packs.

I am also looking for a change of team card.... I started going for jumbo gold packs to try and increase the odds.... Got 'Make Captain" and "player of the week" so far, but no Change Team.. hopefully soon! Standard gold packs never, ever gave me any of these... opened dozens of them.

Another easy trophy, you can either obtain these cards from packs or from the Auction House (Item Type: Training, Type: Captaincy). Once you have obtained a Captaincy card, go into Edit Lineup, select a player and choose ‘Apply Consumable’. The Captain card will be under ‘Training’. Press on the card, then again to confirm. The trophy will pop immediately afterwards.

This item is a “Training” card and can be obtained in a pack, or purchased at the auction house. At the auction house you can modify your search to make it easier to find this card. Once you have it, just go to your edit lines screen, click on a player, apply consumable and select the Captain Card item.
