How to unlock the Circuit King achievement in NHL 20 - Definitive Guide
This is a Tips & Tricks Guide for NHL Threes to make the process go along faster, because doing about 64 NHL Three's games can be pretty tiresome. I'm sure there is some of you that will enjoy this game and want to play it out naturally.
However, there used to be a way to get this back in NHL 18 within like 2 minutes that may still work where you enter someone's last game of their last circuit and complete it and it would count for you. I haven't tried this method so I cannot confirm or deny that it still works.
Circuits
There are 3 circuits; Western Conference (15 Games), Eastern Conference (16 Games), and the Icons Circuit (33 Games)
You will not unlock the Icons Circuit until completing the two Conferences
Basic Tips
Try and play on Semi-Pro/Pro for the first circuit for most of your games, you will gain new mascots which will increase your teams efficiency and eventually will lead to having an above 90's team of Legends. Once you have this I would recommend just going back to Rookie to make it all quicker.
Also, scoring is pretty simple and self explanatory for the most part but the most efficient way is easily a cross body shot on the goal from the slot or a cross crease pass/one timer. I'm sure most of you know this, but I figured it'd be nice for some that may struggle.
Coin Toss
The seemingly most important part of your journey through Threes; picking Heads or Tails. Generally for me but i'm sure it's all person to person luck, I started with Heads for awhile and kept losing but switched to Tails for about two and half circuits and won about 60% of the time.
However, if you do lose and the CPU picks a 3 period game; I recommended quitting out to your Xbox Dashboard once you lose (You seem to keep the same Game "RNG") and come back into Threes and choose the opposite side of the Coin, this worked for me about 90% of the time but if you do lose again do the same and come back and choose the same side, this worked for me 100% of the time.
This may seem a little redundant and time consuming, but this process would only take me a minute tops, which is a lot shorter than a 6-9min game of playing CPUs especially over a 64 Game span.
Game Settings for Won Coin Toss
Much like the scoring portion this may be obvious to some, but for the people who are unaware. When you win the Coin Toss, make sure you set it to a Goal Limit of 3 and Money Puck on, sometimes you'll luck out and only have to score one or two goals to win the game.

Great write up! Just a little tidbit to add is that you have to earn all stars in the East and West circuits before the Icon circuit will unlock.

Can confirm this is boostable this year. Just co-op the final game vs the Montreal Alumni and your partner gets the Circuit King achievement
