Make sure your players first goal is user scored and not simmed. I accidentally simmed through the first game, got a goal. Played the next game scored but didn’t get the achievement!

When I simulated periods and the created player automatically scored a goal, and then I personally, even about a dozen goals, the trophy did not fall out. I had to load the previous save and score it manually, only after that the trophy was released!
