Warning: this achievement is an utter nightmare due to how bad the CHEL servers are in 2024. They weren't great in 2021 and they certainly haven't gotten any better. They crash and freeze a lot, erasing all of your progress in the blink of an eye. This achievement is now a race against time: can you finish a game before you lose connection?
This achievement requires a minimum of 8 people/8 Xboxes. Threes Eliminator is tournament of 3 v 3 matches however four players can start a match, with the computer being the fifth and sixth players. You obviously can do this with more people but I wouldn't go over 8 for simplicity reasons. The process is very simple and would be effortless if not for the aforementioned servers.
The biggest key here is speed, communication, and efficiency. The moment one game ends you want to get the next one going, I cannot stress how bad these servers are and how short connections can last. As far as the freezing, it only seems to happen on the loading screen before a match. If any of the four players freeze, EVERYONE force quit the game and reload as quick as humanly possible.
The 8 accounts split into teams of two, each forming a club they join. From the World of CHEL main menu choose Threes Eliminator and then Play As Club. In this scenario, Player 1 & 2 will be getting the achievement:
Player 1 & 2 and Player 3 & 4 search at the same time. They match up, Player 3 & 4 quit the game after just a few in-game seconds have gone by. Only one player on the losing team needs to quit.
Player 1 & 2 advance to the next round to await an opponent. Just let the post-game sit there and auto search by itself (takes about two minutes), going any faster seemed to make the servers mad.
Player 3 & 4 and Player 5 & 6 match up, with Player 3 & 4 winning via quit.
Player 1 & 2 and Player 3 & 4 match up again in Round 2, with Player 1 & 2 winning via quit. Player 1 & 2 are now in the Finals, and start praying their connection holds while they await an opponent. It is likely the game with say Matchmaking Failed, press A to search again. I found if you keep searching you seem to stay connected to the servers better.
Player 3 & 4 and Player 5 & 6 match up, Player 3 & 4 winning via quit.
Player 5 & 6 and Player 7 & 8 match up, Player 5 & 6 winning via quit.
