Reaching Gold Legacy status is the easy part. Following this guide:
The Trophy Case achievement in NHL 22 worth 111 pointsWin the Calder Trophy and Stanley Cup®, in the same year, in Be A Pro.
you will reach Gold Legacy status by your second season. Simply win the Calder Trophy, the Stanley Cup, and score a lot of points. Now the hard part: retiring. You CANNOT retire early in this game, you have to play a full 25 seasons of Be A Pro until the game automatically retires you at the end of the 2045-2046 season which is going to be an agonising slog of a grind thanks to how awful and repetitive this mode is.
You'll want to get the Greatness trophy done during the 25 years and then sim out the rest, sitting through ENDLESS cutscenes of your teammates harassing you about visiting every museum in the world, your goldfish memory agent getting you the same movie and book deals over and over again, and your coach whining about whatever before, during, and after games. At the end of the 2046 you'll simply get a "Thanks for playing!" screen and the achievement will pop.
