Proper way to unlock this:

Go into the store in HUT. Buy the free pack that says 1000 HUT champions points.

Then go into the section that says rivals. Play 5 matches and win or lose a bar will appear saying how many points you have out of 2000. Once you get to 2000 register for the season and the achievement will unlock.

Points are earned by either winning or losing rivals matches.

So I redeemed the 1000 point pack in both games. I redeemed the 1000 points reward pack in the XBOX ONE VERSION FIRST then went to the SERIES X version and when I loaded HUT it asked me to transfer my team and I said yes. At this point I went into the store and redeemed the 1000 points rewards pack in the series X version. Then loaded I played the 5 qualifying rivals matches and quit out of them all after the clock read 17:59 or less. After the 5 games the bar showed up and it said I already had 2000 points? Achievement unlocked.

This only worked for the Series X version.
