For some reason it isn't popping for me. I drafted David Krejci from the Boston Bruins. He has the X-Factor by him.

Easy, you don't need the 1st pick because there are many players with an X-Factor.

It worked for me on my first try no reason to hate unless you have a better solution 🤷‍♂️

Not hating, just stating that your solution is half assed. You even partially corrected it above, in the comments... but for some reason didn't put it in the actual solution. The guy even commented about the problem most people will face with YOUR solution, they will think it's from the actual expansion draft when you poach 1 player from each team.

It's not the initial expansion draft, it's the 2nd phase after your team roster is created. You then get a draft pick for the rookie entry draft, which is who you need to draft for the achievement. You also don't get the first overall pick unless you pick Buffalo, which most people will NOT do naturally.

Fair enough I edited in the details about it being the entry draft as I thought it was obvious but that’s why you were taught to proofread your essays in school before you hand them in and yes I did choose Buffalo naturally without thinking about it so some luck on my part that the sabres are a dumpster fire most years so thank you for helping me put 2 and 2 together
